Leonard Rijo is a 2024 SS/ with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Bayahibe, AL who attends Nueva Esperanza. Recorded a 7.00 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a lean build and lots of room to add strength. Primary shortstop with soft hands and gamer actions. Fields with two hands out in front with quick feet. Controls body well and is accurate from multiple slots with arm strength up to 85 mph across. Right-handed hitter with a narrow and open stance. Loads and anchors on the rear leg well and has a high hand set with a high back elbow. Liners to all fields with a short and direct hand path. Great student.
