2022 13U/14U Summer Gulf Coast Showcase (Tues-Wed)
David Lindsay is a 2025 RHP/UT with a 5-9 138 lb. frame from Caledonia, MS who attends Homeschool, GA. Ran a 7.65 second sixty. Primary right-hadned pitcher with an average build. Showed some athleticism to the delivery with a clean arm action up to a three-quarters arm slot. Showed good use of the lower half as he gets down the mound with the fastball sitting 66-72 mph and getting to both halves of the plate. Showed two different breaking balls with a curveball that shows good depth in the low 60's and tighter spin out of the hand. The slider works more horizontal with flashes of tilt through the zone in the mid to upper 60's. Showed young footwork on the infield. The hands are firm receiving the ball deeper on the body as he travels into the throws with a longer arm action. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base using simple stride and small hand load to create separation. The bat path works down hill on a steeper path showing some young strength when he gets the barrel to it while impacting the baseball best to center field. Very good student.
