Ayden Duanys is a 2026 C/RHP/SS with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Worcester, MA who attends Doherty Memorial. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.17 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate, receives the ball out front, deeper transfer and can shorten process moving forward, shows some quickness in actions, will continue to refine and arm strength will continue to develop on throws. Also pitched, full windup on the mound with rhythm to operation, repeats well on the mound. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, mostly true through the zone, pitched to contact and collected outs. Shorter 11-5 shape on curveball up to 62 mph, pitched mostly off of fastball in this look. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate and utilizes a hover leg lift trigger for timing. Handsy swing but shows quickness to them, occasionally gets uphill with path, best contact on a linear plane and when getting extended out front. Shows balance in set up and comfort working to all parts of the field, can see the ball deep. Very good student.
