2022 Spring Midwest Workout Showcase (April 16)
Parker Clausen is a 2023 SS/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Norfolk, NE who attends Battle Creek. He has a medium frame with a thin build with plenty of room to fill. Primary shortstop with a high waist that fields the ball deep and looks the ball all the way in. He showed good footwork when working to both sides of his body and made the routine plays easily. Secondary outfielder that attacks the ball and fields it off to his side. He throws with a longer arm action that features a plunge and keeps the ball low and on a line to the base. Right-handed hitter that starts in a wide base with bent knees and a high back elbow. He features a simple stride for timing and has a long and uphill swing. He looks to hit the ball in the air and works best in the middle of the field. Excellent student.
