Hayden Resch is a 2026 C/1B, OF with a 5-10 152 lb. frame from Poway, CA who attends Poway. Features a taller build with room to add more. Ran a 7.73 60-yard dash. Worked out as a catcher and in the outfield. Has confidence behind the plate. Receives the ball well using firm wrists. Displayed consistent transfer into short arm action throws. Still developing quickness out of crouch. Arm was accurate a majority of the time. Charges the ball hard in the outfield. Still developing footwork and glove actions through the catch point. Short arm action produces fairly accurate throws. Threw 72 mph during defensive drills. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with a narrow base and high back elbow setup. A simple swing allows body control to be maintained throughout. Shows some feel for the barrel using a direct path. Hands stay loose throughout easy, controlled swings. Doing damage on a more consistent basis is the next step in development. Incorporating the lower half more would help generate more power. Good student.
