David Bostic is a 2026 2B/MIF/UT with a 5-4 140 lb. frame from Hope mills, NC who attends Grays Creek. Medium frame with some wiry strength and a lot of time to add overall physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Primary position IF, showing developing fundamentals overall with some hop to his step. Glove is accurate with some late stabbing action here and there but secures the ball and the feel is there. Clean transfer to nice medium arm path that delivered the ball accurately and peaking at 73 mph. RHH using a medium, slightly open stance and high handset with wrapped barrel to start. A bit of a segmented operation but when synched up showed his best bat speed. Rotational type swing with emerging power and knows how to find the barrel. Very consistent with the bat path and as he adds strength will see the power take another step. Outstanding student.
