Isaiah Holtz is a 2027 OF/SS with a 5-9 148 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Poly Prep Country Day. Young lean athletic build. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a high hand load and a leg lift trigger, swings hard and creates some bat speed, has some barrel control and hit the ball to all parts of the field, has surprising strength at contact and hit well in games. 6.98 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, had good game actions and showed range, can be more aggressive to and through the ball, has some arm strength that would improve with better momentum and footwork through the ball. Took a turn on the mound, has good tempo to his mechanics and gets off his back side well driving to the plate, well sequenced delivery, shows his athleticism well in his delivery. Fastball worked in the upper 70's with good life and the ability to throw it for strikes. Curveball had good depth and can be used more. Good student. Named to the PG Sunshine Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
