Ryan Rechs is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Canyon Crest Academy. Features an athletic frame with room to add. On the mound he has a three-pitch mix that include fastball, slider and curveball. He has a quick arm throwing out of a 3/4 slot with short arm action. He stays around the zone and showed the ability to land his secondary pitches. He has a repeatable, athletic delivery. He likes to attach hitters early in the count and stayed in control from there. On the infield he showed proper footwork and glove mechanics. He has good lateral movements with a the ability to work through the ball. He has short arm action with the ability to throw from multiple angles with an accurate arm. At the plate he has a medium, slightly open stance with a slight leg lift load. He has an up the middle approach with the ability to find the barrel consistently. He is a very good student.
