Yariel "Lito" Diaz is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Saint Cloud, FL who attends TNXL Academy. Features a taller/lean build with projection. Ran a 7.48 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed athleticism within the actions. Works low to the ground with some quickness and fields it out front and clean. Gets to his crow hop quick and showed a more uphill release where all throws showed strong carry and were on-fly accurate. At the plate, sits in a medium base in an open stance. Good flow into launch where he uses a rhythmic leg lift trigger where the hands load the barrel deep creating some separation into launch. Showed avg. bat/hand speed during his round where the path showed more down-and-through but with deeper contact points. Balanced throughout. Best results were a couple LD barrels to the opposite field. On the mound, he had a dominant outing where he struck out the side with ease. Balanced drop/drive delivery with athleticism. Arm is clean/continuous with adv. armspeed to a lower 3/4 slot where the FB was up 88 with some natural running action. Turned over a hard CH in the upper 70s, T80 he had feel for and showed good depth/fade that produced whiffs vs. RHHs. Also landed his SL in the mid 70s that hard sharp lateral movement and depth with good spin. Named to 14U Select Fest Roster.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
