2022 Top Prospects

Jacob Cerecedes  C - 2022 - Ontario, CA

Cercedes showcased intriguing defensive attributes and versatility to go along with a promising bat for the future. He showed his athleticism in the outfield to go along with solid arm strength and accurate throwing arm. He also had one of the quicker pop times behind the plate. The right-handed hitter showed an all fields approach at the plate where he displayed good feel for the barrel.


2023 Top Prospects

Crew Erickson  OF - 2023 - Heber City, UT

Erickson showed promising talent on both sides of the ball,while also running one of the faster 60-times at the showcase. He moves well laterally with a quick first step in the outfield to go along with a strong throwing arm. The right-handed hitter used good bat speed and feel for the barrel to turn on the baseball and impact it well to his pull side.

Erich Goebel  OF - 2023 - Montecito, CA
Cornell College

Goebel stood out as a switch-hitter with hitting ability from both sides of the plate. Mirrored stances from both sides of the plate with some notable bat speed lead line drives to all fields. He also showed solid footwork in the outfield and good speed which gives him the ability to cover ground well.


2024 Top Prospects

Matthew Krause  RHP - 2024 - Redondo Beach, CA
UC Irvine

Krause showed next level two-way ability at the showcase. He recorded one of the top outfield velocities at the showcase and routinely made accurate throws. The right-handed hitter uses a level bat path with some bat speed to generate hard line drive contact up the middle and at times gap to gap. On the mound he shows a three pitch mix with a fastball up to 85 as well as feel for a changeup and slider out of a deceptive delivery.

Tommy Goodin  1B - 2024 - Thousand Oaks, CA
Vanderbilt

Goodin showed two-way potential with notable ability at the plate. The combination of strength and bat speed in his swing makes the ball really jump off the barrel. A synced up lower half with barrel accuracy allows him to turn on balls and generate big pull side power. On the mound he showed a three pitch mix with a fastball up to 83 mph.

Luke Wilson  OF - 2024 - Irvine, CA

Wilson showed a high level defensive skill set to go with a promising bat for the future. Used a combination of speed and arm strength to be an impact next level defensive outfielder. The right-handed hitter showed good bat to ball skills with several hard line drives to all fields.
