Dillon Lifrieri
OF - 2018 - Wilton, CT
Arkansas
Lifrieri is already committed to the University of South Carolina and after his performance it's easy to see why. Full of quick-twitch muscle the righthanded hitting Lifrieri showed an easy swing with lots of bat speed as well as big arm strength from both the infield and outfield with top throws of 90 mph.
Darius Gilliam
SS - 2018 - Bowie, MD
Southern
Gilliam sported one of the more projectable builds and looked much taller than his listed 6-foot, 155-pound frame. The Maryland native ran his fastball up to 82 mph on the mound but it was his fluid righthanded swing and overall projectability that really intrigues on the diamond.
Jordy Batista
3B - 2018 - Bronx, NY
Uncommitted
In both batting practice and live action Batista managed to hit the ball with authority, showing plenty of quickness to his hands and big strength off the barrel. He repeats his swing well and projects for even more strength while showing 81 mph across the diamond on his throws.
Nathan Curtis
RHP - 2018 - Eliot, ME
Central Alabama CC
Curtis turned in a nice performance on both sides of the ball as he's listed as a primary pitcher (where he topped out at 80 mph), but also showed impressive arm strength at first base at 84 mph. With a full swing path Curtis was able to generate leverage at the plate too and showed pop to his pull side.
Andrew Chi
SS - 2018 - Closter, NJ
Bates College
A primary shortstop, Chi showed off nice quickness to his footwork defensively and worked through the ball well while showing some of the better arm strength across the diamond. Offensively he stayed direct and quick to the ball which he repeats and also ran a 3.94 30-yard dash.
Kyle Roche
RHP - 2018 - Sandy Hook, CT
Uncommitted
Roche certainly looks the part at 6-foot-6, 195-pounds as he toes the rubber and offered as much projection as any arm of the showcase. Up to 81 mph with his fastball, Roche pounded his fastball down in the zone with consistent running life and flashed a mid-60s breaker.
Jack Donofrio
OF - 2019 - Simsbury, CT
Notre Dame
Donofrio ran the top 30-yard dash with an impressive 3.68 time but he brings much more than speed to the table. Though listed as a primary pitcher who topped out at 82 mph on the mound, Donofrio also hit 85 mph from the outfield and showed quickness to his hands at the plate.
Montana Semmel
RHP - 2019 - Stamford, CT
Chipola College
After impressing with his actions behind the plate during the drills portion in which he showed the top velocity at 78 mph and popped a solid 1.93, Semmel continued to shows strength from the right side with quick hands and hard contact off the barrel.
Dylan Hoy
SS - 2019 - Suffern, NY
Marist
A lefthanded hitting middle infielder who shows quickness to his hands, Hoy also showed some of the best defensive actions of the showcase. He ran a 3.98 30-yard dash and showed light footwork and range moving to either side with carry and accuracy on his throws across the diamond.
Jack Bulger
C - 2020 - Bowie, MD
Vanderbilt
Bulger left a big impression after his performance throughout the showcase as he put together a strong showing on both sides of the ball. His strong arm played well behind the plate with quick hands, a trait he showed at the plate too with advanced bat speed and big jump off the barrel.
Matt Morello
C - 2020 - Flemington, NJ
Uncommitted
Another catcher who just began his freshman season, Morello performed well both behind the plate (75 mph, 1.94 pop with a clean arm action) as well as with the bat. His righthanded swing produced legitimate pop and bat speed with consistent loud contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field.
Jeremiah Peralta
OF - 2020 - St. Cloud, FL
Mercy
Peralta, a primary middle infielder, offers plenty of physical projection and should continue to grow given he's just beginning his freshman season. He showed smoothness to his actions defensively, especially in the outfield, and has very nice offensive tools as well with a direct and quick stroke.
