Reed Purcell
OF - 2023 - Alpharetta, GA
Piedmont University
Purcell is a very good athlete with lots of quick twitch actions. He's 6.80 runner and is a strong right handed hitter with a very accurate barrel and good present bat speed. His big challenge as a 2023 will be adding more strength to his lean 5-10/160 build.
Luke O'Malley
RHP - 2023 - Marietta, GA
Uncommitted
O'Malley has a strong and mature 6-1/205 build and two solid present pitches he threw for strikes from a well paced and clean delivery. His fastball worked up to 83 mph with nice carry up in the zone and he supplemented that with a sharp breaking high spin rate curveball that he landed for strikes consistently.
Jake Zehner
OF - 2024 - Woodstock, GA
Florence-Darlington Technical College
Zehner is a high level athlete with 6.59 speed that played up, if anything, in the games. He has some present strength in his 5-11/165 build and creates good bat speed with some gap to gap juice. A primary outfielder, Zehner actually looked very good in the infield defensively and made a number of very athletic plays to get outs.
Joshua Evans
LHP - 2024 - Lawrenceville, GA
Georgia Tech
Evans has a very projectable 6-1/165 build and a broad set of tools. He's a left handed hitter with very good bat speed and future power potential as he gets stronger. He throws very well from the outfield with plus accuracy and was up to 86 mph from the mound as well with a slider and change up. He'll keep improving in all areas.
Trey Majette
1B - 2024 - Lawrenceville, GA
Jacksonville State
Majette has lots of growing to do into his 6-2/160 frame but is already an accomplished switch-hitter with bat speed and power potential from both sides of the plate. He picked up five hits during the two games and barreled up everything in batting practice as well. He's a first baseman on defense but with 6.92 speed the outfield might be in his future.
Justin Orridge
OF - 2024 - Cocoa Beach, FL
Amherst College
Orridge has a nice combination of tools, with 6.94 speed in the sixty and an 88 mph throwing arm from the outfield. When he keeps his right handed swing simple and on time he made hard contact to all fields with a level line drive approach that projects well.
Ferdinand Rosa
SS - 2024 - Toa Alta, PR
Uncommitted
Rosa is a live bodied middle infielder with 6.66 speed. He showed very good feel for defense during the games with lots of range and the ability to make plays on the move. He has a nice high contact swing that is going to develop well as he gets stronger.
Andrew Doherty
C - 2024 - Suwanee, GA
Uncommitted
Doherty is a very good all around athlete with outstanding speed, including a 6.63 sixty time, and has all the tools to be an outstanding defensive catcher with continue development and repetitions. His right handed swing is short and direct and projects well.
Braydon Kersey
3B - 2024 - Alpharetta, GA
Mercer
Kersey is a strong bodied left side infielder with 7.17 speed and a strong arm but it was his left handed bat that played big the entire showcase. He creates bat speed with a smooth swing and some whip through contact that promises lots of future power.
Colton Denton
C - 2025 - Knoxville, TN
Tennessee
Denton is very strong for his age at 6-0/210 but he has surprising agility and quickness behind the plate and really caught and threw well in the games. His right handed swing was strong and well controlled and he found barrels to all fields with his best power to right centerfield when he got his arms extended.
Josiah Hatchett
LHP - 2025 - Powder Springs, GA
Uncommitted
Hatchett-Jackson has lots of growing to do from his present broad shouldered 5-7/144 build but he don't find many pitchers who can spin it like this southpaw. He regularly broke 2500 rpm on his mid-60's curveball with tight biting action. Imagine the spin he might create when he has the arm speed to throw more than 75 mph on his fastball.
