2022 Top Prospects

Gavin Brunsman  3B - 2022 - Alexandria, VA
Swarthmore College

Brunsman impressed throughout the day in multiple facets of the workout. A physically 6-2/185-pounder, the Swarthmore recorded a 7.03-second sixty, later shower some athletic twitch during infield drills. A mature approach at the plate, putting together quality at-bats during games, Brunsman showed off some of his power barreling up a double to the pull side. While also seeing time on the bump, the Virginia-native worked in the mid-80s while a promising slider. He really flashed some two-way potential as he heads to Swarthmore next year.


2023 Top Prospects

Joey Calabretti  3B - 2023 - Perkasie, PA
Seton Hall

Calabretti's bat definitely stood out throughout the day with a loud round of BP from both sides of plate, showcasing some of his pop from the left-side during gameplay. Consistently replicating his swing from both sides, Calabretti recorded an eye-popping 95 mph exit velo. Sound defensive actions during infield work with some bounce in his step, the Perkasie, Pennsylvannia-native was up to 86 mph across the diamond.

Gavin Degnan  OF - 2023 - Lakehurst, NJ
Uncommitted

Degnan is an athletically built 2023 Grad that was dynamic on both sides of the ball, as he ran a 6.93 sixty and recorded arm strength up to 86 mph during drills. At the plate, he incorporates a loose leveraged stroke to impact the baseball with authority frequently. He showed the ability to stay consistent and has extraordinary feel for the barrel.

Will Christopher  3B - 2023 - Middletown, NJ
Stonehill College

A physical 6-1/205lbs with plenty of strength present throughout his frame, Christopher barreled some balls up during live at-bats that echoed throughout the facility. An all around solid day for the Middletown, New Jersey-native, he topped the outfield velocity charts, up 88 mph with on-line throws to the plate. An intriguing two-way prospect, Christopher topped 84 mph on the mound after a full workout day, with definite life in his arm, there is some potential for him on the mound. The hit tool is what stood out the most with an impressive 91 mph exit velo.

Nicolas Lorenzo  MIF - 2023 - Maplewood, NJ
Richmond

The Richmond commit recorded the second fastest sixty of the day with a 6.88. Silky smooth actions at short during drills it translated to gameplay as Lorenzo made several plays showing off his range and quick reaction time to the ball off the bat. Keeping it simple at the plate with a compact stroke with plenty of quickness to his hands.

Jake Arnow  C - 2023 - Edison, NJ
Uncommitted

Arnow impressed on both sides of the ball, but behind the plate is where he really stood out. The compact, strongly built catcher recorded an event best 1.88 pop time by using exceptionally quick feet and a direct mid-line transfer, while incorporating arm strength up to 78 mph as well. At the plate, he used his strong lower 1/2 to create tons of whip to his barrel and showcased immense gap-to-gap power potential. Showed his versatility by recording throws up 85 mph during the outfield portion of the workout as well.

Nick Shuhet  OF - 2023 - Mountain Lakes, NJ
Rider

Shuhet showed clear life during his appearance on the bump Sunday, posting a final line of 3 K's through 2 IP while topping out at 86 mph. The heavy fastball was a consistent problem for hitters in the box, especially when Shuhet displayed command of two solid off speed pitches in an 11-5 slurve and fading changeup. With mechanics continuing to refine, the 6'1" 205 lb righty is a legit option for any program at the next level.


2024 Top Prospects

Micah Wells  RHP - 2024 - Philadelphia, PA
St. Joseph's

Wells certainly turned some heads on Sunday after a dominant performance in which he struck out all six batters faced in his two innings of work. Wells produced effortless life up to 89 mph, a number that should easily work into the 90s within the next few years as the righty continues to develop. If that wasn't enough, Wells also has the ability to mix a funky 11-5 slurvy breaker on command that hitters have no chance with when sitting on the heat.

Matthew VanOstenbridge  LHP - 2024 - Sinking Spring, PA
Penn State

VanOstenbridge is yet another exciting young arm to watch in the coming years, as the lefty was able to strike out all six hitters faced in two innings of work. The projection here is through the roof as the 5'9" 150 lb frame of VanOstenbridge is no where near filled out and already touching 85 mph. He was confident on the mound with good tempo, keeping the fastball low in the zone with a solid curveball/changeup off speed mix to pair.

Tripp Capers  OF - 2024 - Blue Bell, PA
George Mason

Capers is a dynamic athlete that impressed in multiple facets over the weekend. The uncommitted 2024 Grad has lean muscle throughout his frame and displayed lightning quick speed by running a 6.53 sixty. He showcased future power potential with tons of strength at impact at the plate.

David Yorke  3B - 2024 - Bayville, NJ
Sacred Heart

Yorke produced perhaps the loudest round of BP, as the strongly built 2024 Grad pummeled the baseball to all fields with authority. The physically advanced primary catcher showcased a solid defensive skill set behind the plate and added some versatility by performing well in the outfield.


2025 Top Prospects

Joseph Vaccarella  RHP - 2025 - Mickleton, NJ
Tulane

Vaccarella already fits the description of a physical righty even as a '25 grad, running the gun up to 85 mph from a 6'3" 215 lb frame Sunday. The final stat line for Vaccarella included 4 punch outs in which he successfully sequenced heavy heat with a 12-6 breaker displaying tons of vertical depth. The mechanics for Vaccarella worked in unison downhill nicely, and he wasn't afraid to change eye levels and challenge hitters up in the zone.

Cole McKenna  SS - 2025 - West Deptford, NJ
Seton Hall

McKenna is an advanced 2025 Grad that impressed over the weekend. He exhibited smooth, fluid actions in the middle infield and showcased the ability to range well to either side. At the plate, he displayed tons of present bat speed and innate ability to deliver the barrel on-time. Flashed burgeoning gap-to-gap power potential that translated well into game action.


2026 Top Prospects

Bradley McCafferty  C - 2026 - Beverly, MA
Duke

The young backstop really stood out with some of his leadership intangibles and how he handled pitchers during gameplay. Recording the second-best pop time of the day of 2.01-seconds, the freshman's clean transfer and solid defensive actions stood out as advanced for his age. While also impressing during his round of BP, showcasing impact to all fields with present hand strength and incorporating his lower half well.
