2026 Top Prospects

Colten Springall  2B - 2026 - Brentwood, TN
Tennessee

Springall showed well on both sides of the ball throughout the event, both up the middle with sound actions and soft hands as well as with the stick. His hands are loose and he whips the barrel some from the left side, consistently finding the barrel to all parts of the field.

Marcus Cantu  SS - 2026 - Friendswood, TX
Texas

Cantu showed well in all facets of the game, running the fastest 60-yard of the event at 7.05 and showed solid defensive actions both in the infield as well as the outfield. He showed an aggressive approach at the plate in live action from the left side, creating some jump off of the barrel and has nice tools to project upon moving forward.

Shane Coarasa  1B - 2026 - Henderson, NV
Uncommitted

Coarasa has a stronger build already and he uses it to his advantage, creating some whip to the barrel while showing quickness to his hands while replicating his mechanics. His 79 mph exit velo was tied for second best and he showed some of the top actions at first base during the drills portion.

Patrick Ellison Jr  OF - 2026 - Mansfield, TX
Uncommitted

Ellison posted one of the top 60-yard times of the event with a 7.39 as well as the top exit velocity at 80 mph. He has a strong frame and does a nice job of creating extension out front in his swing, generating nice carry off of the barrel when he squares it up.

George Malone  C - 2026 - Missouri City, TX
UC Santa Barbara

Malone is already listed at 6-2/187 and showed well on both sides of the ball, first with his defensive actions in the infield with sound glove skills. He's a switch-hitter and showed some handle for the barrel from both sides, though appeared a little more refined from the left side with balance and lift to his swing.

Matthew McClenan  3B - 2026 - San Antonio, TX
Uncommitted

McClenan is listed as a primary third baseman but impressed with his smooth mechanics and quick arm on the mound. He was up to 76 mph on the mound with nice running life and mixed in a slurve with which he managed to miss plenty of bats.

Colton Patton  OF - 2026 - Boyd, TX
Uncommitted

Patton is a longer limbed left-handed stick who stays relatively short with his swing and seemed to consistently pick up base hits in game with a handle for the barrel. He moved well on the bases and also topped out at 75 mph on the bump, one of the tops in the event.
