Johnny Carver (2026 LHP, Raymore, MO) showed a smooth LH stroke during BP today. Displayed an athletic stance, with some quick twitch muscles. Carver had some loud contact to the pull side, with an uphill bat path. His linear bat path helped him stay on time to all fields.
Nolan Pfannenstiel (2027 C, Goddard, KS) had a tall, narrow stance today in the box. He showed a feel for the barrel, lacing multiple balls into the outfield. Pfannenstiel shows a great frame, and projects for a strong hit tool with some power down the road.
Jackson McNew (2027 C, Middleville, MI) was really fundamentally sound in his round of BP today. McNew is very balanced in the box, and had line drive contact from gap to gap. Many of his swings were hard hit balls that had carry and backspin through the infield.
Avery Lambers (2026 C, Muskegon, MI) showed an uphill bat path during BP with some loud contact. Lambers uses his tall, athletic frame to get the barrel out in front of the plate. During the swing, he uses his lower half well and jumps off the backside to drive the ball with authority.
Jayden Ammeraal (2026 OF, Grand Haven, MI) used a very wide base during BP to stay balanced and drive pitches back up the middle. Ammeraal has very fundamentally sound swing, and showed the ability to produce constant contact. Although the swing can get long at times, there is some nice power projection in the frame.
Danny Napier (2026 C, Louisburg, KS) displayed a very physical and mature build for his age. Napier has a gap to gap approach with some loud contact to the gaps. In the box, he takes very aggressive hacks and looks to elevate the ball with authority. Going to be fun to watch the power potential down the road.
Kingston Kost (2026 1B, Des Moines, IA) has an advanced frame for his age. Kost can really showed good power, driving multiple balls over the outfielders heads during batting practice. Using a balanced setup at the plate, he was able to get his arms extended and reach the outside pitch to shoot it the other way.
