17u WWBA North Scout Notes: Days 1-2





Eddie Scaccia (2023, Oswego, Ill.) had an outstanding outing for Elite Baseball Training-Hales on Saturday morning against Minnesota Blizzard. The 6-foot-3,175–pound right handed pitcher went 1 2/3 innings pitched on the mound, recording two strikeouts and giving up three base hits. He didn’t allow a single run to score. Scaccia is a long levered athlete with incredible upside to his frame. His delivery is clean and repeatable, throwing from a three-quarter arm slot. Great stride length down the mound, creating some ride on his fastball. His fastball got up to 85 MPH on the weekend, but expect this arm to climb much higher in the coming years.
