Denton Biller (2023, Agency, Mo.) was sensational on the mound in YBC 17U Scout’s victory over Wow Factor 17U Scout. He went six innings and only gave up one run on five hits and struck out nine batters. What stuck out most in his performance was his fastball touching 90 mph a few times. His pitching mechanics are polished with great extension on the mound to help with the velocity. Batters could not catch up to the pitch all morning and mixed in some off-speed with great movement. His slider had great horizontal action to it with some slight drop, and his curveball had some late bite with its vertical depth. An overall great performance that should get a ton of attention from coaches and scouts at the next level.
