Zacary Tenn (2022, Kailua, Hawaii) is an excellent arm talent who went hitless through 3 innings of work, tagging seven strikeouts. He has a clean operation with feel to repeat utilizing a mixed timing method in his delivery that was effective. He generates plenty of swing-and-miss and off-balanced barrels. The low effort arm action and body control projects well with a velocity jump in his future on the mound. He holds a solid athletic frame that works laterally smooth with quality quick-twitch movement. The very sound mechanics and fluid arm action will carry throughout his progression. There is huge upside to like here with the right pieces he has already put together. Tenn just recently committed to play at the University of Washington. Following Tenn’s strong three innings, Jett Ah Sam (2022, Honolulu, Hawaii) closed the game to secure the combined no-hitter.
