Most Likely To Make a Huge Jump in the Rankings in 2026

Peyton Andrie (2027 3B, Sewell, N.J.) moved up a bit in the recent rankings refresh and will likely keep climbing up the ranks next summer. He hit .389 with 11 extra-base hits and 29 runs batted in over the course of the 2025 PG circuit, with his power tool showing up much more often. He has a good blend of strength and athleticism in the frame with an intriguing bag of tools to pair.

Tristan Lucier (2027 OF, Manchester, N.H.) earned a sizable jump in the recent update, and is expected to continue that upward trend next year. The Boston College commit really impressed at the plate this past summer, hitting .361 with 17 extra-base hits and 32 runs batted in over 37 games. He pairs a quick, leveraged stroke with plus speed on the basepaths, making him a versatile bat at the top of any order. He has proven to be effective on the mound as well with a heater up to 88 mph.

-Anthony Gambardella

JJ Watkins (’27, Mays Landing, NJ) has long been of personal intrigue, recently committing to stay home and join the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Watkins currently ranks as a top 500 prospect, landing at 14th in-state, and is poised to shoot up the board entering 2026. A 6-foot-4 outfielder, he possesses present strength and athleticism in a projectable frame. Watkins had a big 2025 campaign, producing a 1.078 OPS thanks in-part to 15 extra base hits, driving in 25. He starts slightly wide at the base with high hands, working to a quick barrel via a simple and direct leg load. Watkins possesses an intriguing hit/power blend with projection that lands him on this list.

Brayden Moughan (’28, Vineland, NJ) placed himself firmly on the national radar for 2028 after a big performance at High School All-State. He slugged three homers on the event, earning Top Prospect List honors. Moughan features length and present strength in a 6-foot-3 right-handed frame with athleticism, producing throws up to 84 across the infield. The South Jersey product produced exit velocities up to 94, starting wide at the base with high hands before firing through a quick and impactful barrel. Moughan also appeared on the mound, running the fastball up to 83 while flashing a tight slider. He will figure into the equation for an annually talented Gloucester Catholic program.

-Ryan Miller

Cameron Allen (2027, DE)

Already up to 89 mph despite just a brief look in 2025 on the mound, the overall ease of operation along with physical projection remaining will lead to continued upticks in velocity. There is a feel to pitch with the aptitude to spin the baseball here as well. Seeing Allen more often on the circuit in ’26 will assuredly be exciting to see the growth here.

Guy Lynam (2026,NJ)

A healthy Lynam is a treat to watch and after being banged up for most of 2025, a redemption tour is certainly in order. The sweet left-handed stroke coupled with legitimate in-game power will leave you yearning for more each time you get to see him. Add-in positional versatility in the dirt and huge arm strength, expect the 2026 Auburn commit to make a significant jump in 2026.

Logan Downey (2027,NJ)

Downey is someone that has continued to improve over the course of the past year, peaking at 90 mph in 2025. He commands the zone effortlessly, displays feel for his full array of offerings and will continue to add more velocity as he physically matures. The strudy built right-hander creates heavy downhill life that creates whiffs in the zone and has continued to refine his sharp slider. He worked to a 1.21 ERA in ’25 and fully expect to be one of the better arms in the region in 2026.

-John McAdams

A few years ago, Quincy Bright (2026 Hamden, CT) was the talk of the nation chucking 92 as a 14 year old. After a few injury setbacks, the 6-foot-2, 195 pound LHP is looking to get back to old ways and national prominence once again in 2026. When healthy, Bright is one of the most exciting arms in the country, showcasing a loose and easy arm path with plenty of jump out of the hand from a high ¾ slot. He brings tons of energy on the mound and is more than deserving of a bounce back season in which Bright is expected to once again be a premier name in the New England region.

Jason Verderrosa (2027 Toms River, NJ) could easily be in the “Backup a Breakout” category as well, but we’ll keep him here as more and more people start to notice the ‘27 prospects' dominance. The 5-foot-9, 175 pound C finished up his 2025 season hitting .392 with a trio of HRs while also walking at a 25% clip. There’s plenty of offensive tools here to like for the future, as the currently uncommitted prospect has the ability to hit for both AVG and power and clearly has advanced knowledge of the zone with good discipline displayed. He creates impact to all parts of the field and is also a defensive staple behind the dish, showcasing solid arm strength and feel for the game overall. Currently the #46 ranked prospect in the state, expect that number to rise if Verderrosa has a 2026 that was anything like his 2025 campaign.

-AJ Denny

Most Likely To Hit .500 at PG Events in 2026

Iggy Robinson (2028 OF, Milton, Mass.) is a surefire answer for a multitude of reasons. He hit .489 with 30 extra-base hits and 59 RBI in a dominant 2025 campaign, and hit nearly .450 the year prior. With some pretty impressive strides taken on top of that, expect the 2028 outfielder to continue his success at PG events. His power tool and ability to create lift has really improved, making him a legitimate threat with runners in scoring position.

Wells Cunningham (2027 OF, New Milford, Conn.) hit .434 last summer and is expected to turn it up a notch offensively during the 2026 circuit. He swings a very consistent barrel with an impressive ability to create carry and leverage to all parts of the field. The Lafayette commit can keep up with velocity and react to spin well, making him one of the more reliable bats in the state.

-AG

Leo Nockley (’27, Plains, PA) recently pledged his name to the Tennessee Volunteers, landing a dynamic middle infielder in Knoxville. Nockley packs quick twitch athleticism and present impact in a 5-foot-8 frame with advanced actions at shortstop and second base. The Pennsylvania native starts with a slightly wide base and high hands, getting to the barrel via a direct inward leg load. Nockley has produced exit velocities north of 100, sending line drives to multiple fields while peppering the gaps. Given his present ability and upward trajectory, Nockley figures to be a viable candidate to hit .500 next year.

-RM

Ethan Dubois (2027, NJ) & Eddie Rosado (2026, PA) have been hitting machines throughout their careers and 2025 was no different, as they both showed a knack for finding the barrel. They both work the count in-order to get into an advantage count, where their barrel skills and awareness standout. Each of these Northeast products will be counted upon atop their lineups and seeing them hit .500 is certainly in the cards.

Most Likely To Make a Velo Jump into the Mid-90s in 2026

Nicholas Bradley (2026 RHP, Clarks Summit, Pa.) has proven to be a productive swing-and-miss guy with big life to his fastball and a sharp slider. The 6-foot-2 right-hander has lived in the low-90s with evident feel for commanding the zone. Bradley—who also plays quarterback at Abington Heights—looks to turn his attention back to the diamond after breaking his high school’s record for passing yards in a career. Don’t be surprised if the Auburn commit turns 90-92 into 94-95 by the 2026 circuit.

-AG

Owen Murphy (’28, Villanova, PA) followed up an impressive 2024 campaign with a strong but brief 2025 season, striking out eight and earning a 4.00 ERA. A 6-foot-5 right-hander with room to fill, Murphy recently recorded his personal fastball top at 90 to close out the fall. The Pennsylvania native starts above the belt before working into a high and compact leg lift, firing down the mound via an abbreviated arm action. Murphy’s fastball jumps from the hand with riding life, mixing in a two-plane sweeping slider to keep hitters off balance. His mix of projection and present fastball traits make him a candidate for a velo jump in 2026.

Penn State commit Briar Persing (’27, Montgomery, PA) is coming off a huge 2025 season on both sides of the ball, owning a 2.53 ERA (27.2IP/50K) while slashing .467/.593/.733 at the plate over 22 games. Persing possesses a medium right-handed frame with length and present strength in the lower half. He starts over the face before working to the belt and into a pronounced leg lift, flying down the mound via a short arm action. The Pennsylvania product’s repertoire starts with a high-80s fastball that has been up to 91, featuring run/ride traits and keeps it around the zone. Persing mixes in a sharp two-plane breaking ball, producing a healthy number of whiffs while limiting baserunners. His up-arrow trajectory makes him someone to watch closely in 2026.

-RM

Drew Christine (2026, MD)

Christine is someone we did not get a chance to see in 2025 but Tennessee commits typically have a propensity to make big jumps leading into to their arrival on campus. The left-hander from Maryland is no different, as I expect a significant uptick in velocity and he should be one to monitor this upcoming spring. The ease of operation coupled with the immense physical projection remaining, should lead to a rather easy velocity climb in ’26.

-JM

Reid Glanville (2027 Greenwich, CT) definitely gained some attention to end the year down at Underclass, as the still plenty projectable 6-foot-2, 175 pound righty sat in the mid to upper 8s with the ability to run it up to 90 as seen back in August. There’s lots to like in terms of the arm action with plenty of arm speed generated through release from an over the top slot. There’s present spin profile to be found in the arsenal, with the FB in the 2350 rpm range and breaker upwards of 2450 rpm. With some additional strength added over the Winter, Glanville very well could be making 90 mph the norm as he heads into his Junior year with a ceiling that could end up being significantly higher.

UConn commit Damian Budhai (2027 Stroudsburg, PA) already has one of the best spin profiles in the class, seeing numbers upwards of 3100 rpm on a devastating two-plane slurvy breaker. However, 2026 is predicted to be a major year in terms of velo tick for the 5-foot-9, 165 pound prospect as well. Currently in the 82-85 mph range, it shouldn’t surprise anyone if Budhai comes out consistently in the mid to upper 8s this Spring if the previous trend has any indication, as the Stroudsburg native has gained 2-4 mph in each of the past couple years during the offseason. If the velocity spikes as expected, Budhai will quickly rise into the upper ranks in the region as the kid already competes with some of the best and knows how to pitch.

Most Likely to Back Up a Breakout in 2025

Dylan Weinstein (2028 OF, Levittown, N.Y.) really broke out in 2025, hitting .435 at PG events with 10 doubles, six homers and 69 RBI in 67 games. The 6-foot-1 righty hitter swings a fast barrel with advanced consistency and feel for working the entire diamond. He has impressive power for his size with more to project for as he continues to fill out. Expect the 2028 outfielder to put together another dominant campaign this summer.

Ty Madden (2028 OF, Montvale, N.J.) took a huge step in the right direction on both sides of the ball in 2025. The lefty hitter turned in a special summer at the plate in which he hit .500 with four homers, five triples and 13 doubles in 46 games. He has added a lot of strength since last year and appeared to really improve his bat-to-ball skills. Madden shows no signs of slowing down as he looks to carry that dominance into the 2026 circuit.

-AG

Chase Hallett (’29, Pennington, NJ) combined a strong showing at a fall showcase with a big event at Freshman WWBA, earning All-Tournament Team honors thanks to a five-hit weekend, driving in four. He also swiped three bags and was on an additional three times via the walk. In total on the year, Hallett posted an impressive 1.450 OPS including ten extra base hits. The New Jersey native works from a medium frame with present strength, working with a simple operation from the left side. Hallett starts even and upright with high hands, utilizing a simple hovering leg load before firing through a quick and accurate barrel. He showcased feel of the zone with advanced contact skills to add to his quick twitch athleticism and up-the-middle profile. Hallett figures to be a freshman to watch in the Garden State for 2026.

Bradley DeFeo (’29, Margate City, NJ) landed at 212 nationally in his class after an impressive showing at High School All-State Games. DeFeo works from a strong 6-foot frame with thickness in the build, working from the stretch and above the belt. He utilizes a higher leg lift before firing down the mound from a high three-quarters slot and shorter arm action. DeFeo has worked his fastball up to 86, mixing in a pair of secondaries that include a curveball and slider. The New Jersey freshman has intriguing two-way potential, producing exit velocities up to 93 mph.

-RM

William Haggerty (2027,RI)

The right-hander from Rhode Island showed plenty of promise in 2024 but 2025 was truly his breakout, as he ran it up to 93 mph at Junior National and steadily showed electric stuff leading to him topping out at 95 mph in Jupiter. Ultimately, it led to a commitment to the University of Florida this fall. It is a truly unique blend of projection and outlier type traits with a lower release height that creates tough angles on the heater. He pairs it well with a sweeping breaking ball that generates tons of awkward swings. Look for Haggerty to follow up his 2025 breakout campaign with something even more electric in ’26.

-JM

To say Nate Kesselmark (2027 Weston, CT) had himself a 2025 would be an understatement, as the Weston native posted a 2.28 ERA in 18.1 IP with 27 Ks and committed to Notre Dame in the process. He quickly made his way into the T500 nationally, showing off a low 90s FB that jumps out of the hand with intriguing projection still remaining. There’s feel for spin here, and it’s hard to bet against an arm who stands at 6-foot-3, 170 pounds with tons of pitchability to be found. Expect Kesselmark to once again dominate in the region next year and further make his name known on the national scale.

Alexander Jendras (2026 Wappingers Falls, NY) broke onto the scene after an electric showing at the USG Showcase back in June, posting a 6.67 sixty time with tons to like as a premier two-way prospect. After a loud round of BP, the 6-foot-2, 208 pound prospect jumped on the mound and proceeded to chuck 93 mph with spin upwards of 2590 rpm, breaking off a sharp CB that reached 2830 rpm. Athleticism would be an understatement, as the recent Houston commit has effortless tools at his disposal that look good both in workouts and in game. He finishes 2025 hitting .397 and is a more than well rounded prospect to keep an eye on in 2026.

Most Likely to Lead the Region in Home Runs in 2026

Conor Alvezi (2028 OF, Plainville, Ma.) didn’t just lead the region in home runs for his class, he led the nation with eight bombs in 35 games. The 2028 outfielder has a sneaky power tool in his arsenal with excellent consistency and feel for creating leverage at impact. He hit .408 during the 2025 circuit with 16 extra-base hits excluding his home run total.

Braden Cox (2028 OF, Sea Girt, N.J.) is a really special athlete with the perfect blend of strength and speed in the profile. He has quickly become one of the most dominant power hitters in the region, coming off a summer in which he hit seven long balls and batted .415. The 6-foot-3 righty hitter has effortless strength in the hands and barrel, paired with advanced feel for creating backspin to the middle of the field.

-AG

Arkansas commit Alex Odud (’27, Marlton, NJ) had a coming out party in 2025, putting up monster numbers throughout the circuit and pledging his name to the Razorbacks, a rare Northeast recruit. Odud hit just one homer over 17 games in 2025, but figures to continue the impact gains that put him on an SEC trajectory. The South Jersey native works with a prototypical catcher’s frame with strength present, starting slightly wide in the box with high hands from the left side. Odud gets to a quick twitch barrel via a medium inward hovering leg load. He has made himself an intriguing name to watch progress for the 2027 class.

-RM

Campbell McCormack V (2027, PA)

The left-handed hitting slugger from Pennsylvania was an offensive juggernaut in 2025, leading the entire 2027 grad class with twelve homers across the Perfect Game tournament season. It is a simple, leveraged stroke with huge separation and tons of bat speed. He impacts it with authority to all fields and leading the region in home runs in 2026 would be no surprise to anyone that has seen him the swing the bat.

Braeden Lipoff (2026, NJ)

Lipoff is another slugger that simply put, impacts the baseball and generates some of the higher EVs that I have seen in recent past. The 2026 East Carolina commit stays connected well with a subtle hover into launch before unleashing huge bat speed and strength at impact. He will hit in the middle of a talented Gloucester Catholic lineup, so he will see plenty of pitchers with runners on-base that should allow for him to compete for having some potential gaudy homerun numbers in ’26.

-JM

After watching his performance in Jupiter, how can you not say Finnian O'Loughlin (2027 Jersey City, NJ) is a leading candidate to lead the region in HRs next year? If you haven’t seen the 6-foot-2, 185 pound prospect’s bomb last month yet, do yourself a favor and go look it up or watch it above. To spoil it, the ball traveled 443 FT and left the barrel at 101 EV if that gives you any indication of what the Bama commit can do at the plate. With some of the most pure bat speed and overall strength in the class, O’Loughlin has put himself in a category with few others if any, and is one of the most exciting players to watch in the country.

Most Likely To Make a Huge Jump in the Rankings in 2026 RJ Shields (2027, Venice, Fl.) Shields took some significant strides throughout 2025, especially on the mound. The fastball reached 95 mph in recent months and he projects well with great athleticism and a sharp breaking ball. Shields is also a left-handed bat with good thump in the stick. Hitter of the Year: Landon Bonner The 2028 class saw many players from across the country take the next step in their development as they entered the High School ranks. There were huge performances from highly ranked players on the PG circuit as well as some under-the-radar guys who burst onto the scene. Landon Bonner came into Sophomore National as a Top 500 ranked player and after an impressive showing, left with all eyes on him as a rankings riser in the class. The left-handed hitting shortstop from The Colony, Texas, had a summer to remember with All-Tournament Team selections in three of his next four events culminating with a historic performance at the 2025 PG 15U WWBA National Championship. Hitter of the Year: Koa Romero is the Hitter of the Year for the 16u group, as he would come to every premier event of the summer and earn All-Tournament honors (Beast of the East, 16/17u WWBA, Jupiter) in every single one. Over 82 plate appearances, Romero would pump ten homeruns with forty two RBI and sixteen walks, good for a .378 average and 1.339 OPS. The performance on volume at the best events of the year pushed Romero over the edge here, as he’d hit a pair of homeruns in Jupiter (one of them at 112 EV) as an underclassmen and collect double digit hits in BOTH WWBA events with a combined six jacks over the two tournaments. It was a summer that combined performance and winning on the biggest stages for Romero. It’s a quiet left-handed swing that packs a punch. He would reap the benefits of his performances, earning a commitment to LSU and jumping to the #74 prospect in...
