PERFECT GAME WELCOMES JAKE HORNBACHER
TO LEAD MIDWEST YOUTH BASEBALL INITIATIVES
Sanford, Florida (Friday, October 17, 2025) - Perfect Game, the world’s largest youth baseball and softball platform and scouting service, today announced that Jake Hornbacher has joined the organization as its Midwest youth regional director with a primary focus on expanding Perfect Game’s tournament footprint in Michigan.
Hornbacher brings more than a decade of experience organizing and managing elite youth baseball events. A native of Michigan, he played college baseball at St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron in 2013 and 2014 before beginning his career in baseball event management.
Since 2013, Hornbacher has been instrumental in growing youth baseball across Michigan. He ran USSSA Baseball events throughout the state and, in 2018, officially became the Michigan State Director. Under his leadership, participation grew rapidly, with more than 1,000 teams competing in the Michigan USSSA World Series over the years.
From 2021 to 2023, Hornbacher transitioned to the USSSA National Office, where he served as General Manager of the $30 million USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera, Fla. He was later promoted to National Director of Sports, overseeing a broad portfolio of youth programming across the country.
