The Beast Invades Panama City

Beast of the East Event Page

All eyes within the youth baseball world will be fixated on the Publix Sports Park in Panama City Beach, Florida throughout the course of the weekend as the top teams from the 9u to 14u age groups will duke it out to see who will be left standing late Sunday afternoon. With the first pitch set for 8 AM on Friday morning, regardless the field you’re at, the intensity won’t budge until the last out of the event as this is a tournament every team has had circled as “the one” to not only attend, but win. While some teams received their bid based on performances throughout last fall and spring, others had to claim theirs by winning the gauntlet of an event, the Houston Super Regional NIT, proving they have what it takes in terms of firepower and depth.

There won’t be any shortage of star power on display as you’ll once again be able to see something special on whichever field you happen to pop over to. Both the 13u and 14u age divisions are chalk full of talent as 19 of the top 20 players ranked within the 2029 grad class will be in attendance as well as 50+ Select Festival alum. Speaking of the Select Festival, 24 players who participated in last year’s 11u game will be suiting up for the 12u Beast of the East this year, looking to take those next steps and continue to make a name for themselves on a national level.

With the Houston 1000 in the far review mirror, all the attention of youth baseball shifts to Panama City as the Beast of the East is quickly transforming into the premier event on the schedule, where every pool play turns into a sweat fest with a playoff-like atmosphere.

And while this event is one of the ultimate team events of the year, it also serves as a platform for players to take full advantage and make a name for themselves, either climbing up the rankings, making their debut in the following update, or earning an invite to either the 13u or 14u National Showcase. With Perfect Game scouts on hand throughout the weekend, nothing will go unnoticed as everything will be left out on the field in hopes of being the last team standing.
