Conference play across the nation swings into full-force this week and intra-league battles from last weekend lived up to their billing for the most part. Beyond that, all of the sudden we have some teams coming out of the shadows and proving they are clubs to be reckoned with as we speed towards the mid-way point of the season.

The top of the poll remained unchanged for the most part as No. 1 Tennessee (16-0), No. 2 LSU (16-1), No. 3 Georgia (18-1), No. 4 Clemson (15-1), No. 5 FSU (15-0) and No. 6 Texas (13-1) all cruised to perfect weeks. Previous Top-10 teams No. 12 UNC (14-2) and No. 21 Virginia (9-5) lost their opening ACC series’ at home, vacating their spots and allowing No. 7 Florida (15-2), No. 8 Arkansas (15-1), No. 9 Oklahoma (14-1) and No. 10 Oregon State (10-3) to move up a couple spots. No. 16 Texas A&M (9-6) dropped a couple more games, continuing their slide from their pre-season perch atop the poll. Oregon (14-2) continues to take care of business and land at No. 11 this week, while West Virginia (14-1) continues their climb upward at No. 13 this week. No. 18 Wake Forest (14-3), No. 19 Arizona (11-4) and No. 20 UC Santa Barbara (13-2) all put together clean 4-win weeks and are trending upwards.

Troy (13-3) and Southern Miss (11-5) ended their brief stays in the poll after losing multiple games this week. This made room for Ole Miss (14-1) to debut at No. 23 and No. 25 Stanford (12-3) charged back into the Top-25 after going on the road and winning their maiden ACC series on the road in Chapel Hill.
