We only have 16 teams still alive in their seasons this week and have several new entrants due to upsets in regional play. The ACC flexed its muscle in the first round of the NCAA tournament as all 5-hosts won their region and defeated all SEC teams that were 2-seeds along the way. The SEC also had 5-hosts advance to the next round, with the Pac-12, Big-12, the Big East and the Missouri Valley rounding out the field.

The Top-10 was largely unchanged with No. 1 Tennessee, No. 2 Kentucky, No. 3 UNC, No. 4 Oregon State and No. 5 Texas A&M holding serve, while Arkansas and UC Santa Barbara finished their seasons and dropped out. Previously unranked Oregon, Kansas State, West Virginia, Florida, UConn and Evansville jump in on the strength of their regional victories.
