MLK East Scout Notes: Day 3-4

Sebastian Rolon  (2026, SS/3B/MIF, Mascotte, FL) had a great showing at the plate going 2-3 with 2 doubles. Strong physical player with some juice in the bat showed comfort in going to the opposite field. Quiet hands in stance with mid leg lift, creates good elevation in swing path and showed good bat speed as well to handle velo.

James McGrath (2027, OF, Naperville, IL) had a great showing at the plate today for Canes Illinois 16u gold in their victory this morning against Naples Bandits. Went 2-2 at the plate including a loud triple to LF. Picked up 3 RBI’s in the game to go along with a walk as well. Younger player producing at a higher age level was impressive to see and promising for the future velo jump.
