18u WWBA Scout Notes: Day 5

Ty Southisene (2024, Henderson, Nev.) has really started to heat up over the last couple games and continued to swing it well on Wednesday morning. He finished up the day going 2-for-4 with a double that hit off the base of the left-center wall. The Tennessee commit sets the table very well for one of the best lineups in the country, getting on base at a high clip and swiping some bags. He has some of the best bat-to-ball skills in the entire class which has been on display for quite a while. The defensive actions also stand out, he glides to either side with really smooth hands and a good arm across. He got the start at second base in Wednesday’s action and looked comfortable there. He’s long been one of the top players in the country and he continues to show why he’s ranked so high.
