Colsen Loughren (2024, Cape Coral, Fla.) put together a great day at the plate, finishing the day with two hits, finding the barrel, and getting the job done in the middle of the lineup for his time. In his first at-bat of the day, he got his team on the board with a base knock back up the middle shaded toward the left side. Showed off some strength from a physical build and a quick barrel through the zone. Loughren works from a wider base with a slight barrel wrap and bat hovering around the shoulder, with the back elbow up. As he loads up, the hands drift to around the armpit, and the barrel gets up in the air as he shifts his weight back and lifts the leg minimally. He rotates through contact and is able to get the barrel through the zone.
