Southeast Fall Frenzy Scout Notes

Georgia Tech commit Thorpe Musci (2024, Lilburn, Ga.) was impressive yet again in his outing on Saturday morning. The 6-foot, 180-pound right-handed pitcher four innings, allowed three hits, and struck out nine. The Lilburn native has elite arm speed and showcased the ability to command the fastball to both corners. The fastball sat in the upper-80s and got up to 93 mph with riding life through the zone. He only threw a handful of breaking balls but they were sharp with tight 11-5 shape. He also flashed a changeup to right-handed and left handed hitters that he could turn over well in the mid-80s. In a couple looks, have come away very impressed with the arm speed and feel for the zone with all three pitches. He has solidified himself as one of the top righties in the state. Looking forward to continue following him in the coming years.
