15u World Series Scout Notes: Day 1 | Days 2-3 | Day 4

Taking the mound for 5 Star National 15u Black in their huge matchup against Canes National 15u was Luke Pappano (2025, Cincinnati, Ohio). The long, lean 6-foot-1, 165-pound LHP went the distance in impressive fashion, adding and subtracting as he moved the ball around the zone keeping his opponents off balance. Working from the third base side of the rubber, he gathers with an inward turn of the torso and loads into his back leg before working down the mound. Pappano exuded confidence on the mound, staking together a lot of quality pitches and his team rallied around him for the win. The Kentucky commit went 6 innings, scattering 5 hits, 2 runs, 2 walks while striking out 8 batters.
