Jhett Ohira (2026, Henderson, Nev.) showed his enticing two-way ability over the weekend. Ohira got the start on Day 2 and didn't disappoint, running the fastball up to 79 mph over five shutout frames. Also mixed in a tight, mid-60s slider with subtle shape and bite. Athletic delivery, gets downhill with more in the frame. Followed it up with a loud triple to the left-center field gap and hard single the other way. Present hand speed and intent on a linear path. Has a plan in the box and lets his athleticism shine both ways. Swift movements up the middle at shortstop and moved well on the paths. As he physically matures, Ohira is a name to watch going forward.
