18u WWBA Scout Notes: Day 1

Rueben Livingston (2022, Sinking Spring, Pa.) put together a solid day over two games in Friday’s action. The Kent State commit combined to go 2-for-4 with a double, two walks, and two RBI. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound third baseman has a short swing with good barrel control in the zone. Livingston showed a simple approach with advanced barrel speed and present strength in the stroke. The power upside is immense in the Pennsylvania native, showing a glimpse with a double in the first game. In the field, he showed good feel for third and a plus arm. Livingston projects nicely to stick at third base long term with the size and athleticism that he has.
