Deep South Ultimate Champ. Scout Notes

Photo: Perfect Game

Hudson Lutterman (2024, Knoxville, Tenn.) was dominant out of the 'pen for Exposure Underclass Church in their first game of pool play. Hudson went a little over three scoreless innings, giving up one hit while striking out one. He was commanding his low- to mid-80s fastball well to both sides of the plate. He mixed in a 12-6 breaking ball that he showed some feel for in the zone. Hudson has a very athletic slender build at 5-foot-11, 160 pounds with definitely room for velocity growth as he fills out and corrects some of his movements on the mound. He topped out at 85 mph. Lutterman also got it done at the plate as he went 1-for-3, driving in one of his team's runs. The right-hander should be a fun follow as he progresses through high school. He is committed to play at Virginia Tech.
