Underclass South Elite Fall Scout Notes

Brecken Menuet (2023, Houston, Texas) won the tournament MVP and raked at the plate all weekend while showing off some loud tools. He hit over .400 with a 1.479 OPS (including two home runs) on the tournament and stole five bases. He has a very athletic, lean frame with twitch to it. The right-handed swing has solid leverage to it and shows really impressive feel for the barrel. There’s solid bat-to-ball ability here too. He’s a solid baserunner and gets down the line quick while being a constant stolen base threat. Interesting player to keep an eye on that is currently uncommitted.
