WWBA World Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2

5 Star National-Midwest got production from top to bottom during am impressive win on Friday morning. It started and ended on the mound, however. Cooper Robinson (2022, Lebanon, Ohio), a Butler commit, competed through three challenging innings that helped the offensive take off. The righty has a live fastball that sits in the upper-80s and peaked at 91 with late sinking life. It got on hitters hard and consistently missed the barrel striking out two batter per inning. He adds and subtracts with the curveball and at best showed tight spin with depth and 11/5 shape. There are some release issues due to rushing, but nothing to worry about as strength and repetitions will have him producing early at the next level.
