Coastal World Series Scout Notes: Days 3 & 4

Todd Coffey
Coastal World Series Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2

Kevin Gunn (Stony Creek, VA) is 6-2 with very loose arms, long legs, and a very projectable fame. The Longwood commit is a righthanded two-way player that plays for the Virginia Breeze team. He was very impressive on the mound today with a great arm and looks the part at shortstop. He has a mid-three-quarter arm slot, rides his back leg well, and explodes to the plate. Gunn has a lot to like for both sides of the ball. He pitched four innings with four strikeouts, topping 89 and sitting in the high 80's with a sharp, hard slider up to 80 mph.
