9 PGAA's up for Futures Game

The 2018 MLB All-Star Futures Game will be played July 15 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., and once again the Team USA roster is dominated by top Minor League Baseball prospects who participated in Perfect Game events during their high school years.

Included among the 22 Team USA/PG alumni prospects are nine former Perfect Game All-Americans. All nine also performed at the PG National Showcase the same summer they performed at the PG All-American Classic. They are:

Right-handed pitcher Dylan Cease (White Sox, 2013 PGAAC); left-hander Justus Sheffield (Yankees, 2013); infielder Ke'Bryan Hayes (Pirates, 2014); infielder Ryan Mountcastle (Orioles, 2014); infielder Brendan Rodgers (Rockies, 2014); outfielder Alex Kirilloff (Twins, 2015); right-hander Matt Manning (Tigers, 2015); right-hander Hunter Greene (Reds, 2016) and outfielder Jordon "Jo" Adell (Angels, 2016).

There are also two alumni of the PG National Showcase who will be playing for Team World: left-hander Jesus Luzardo (Athletics) and outfielder Heliot Ramos (Giants).

What follows is a list of Perfect Game alumni who will be participating in this year’s MLB All-Star Futures Game along with their more notable PG experiences:
