We realize we sound like a broken record when it comes to Florida, but they're making the game of baseball look pretty easy this year, taking yet another SEC series from the hands of another ranked opponent. This time it was Kentucky – who fall six spots in the Top 25 as a result after a 1-3 week – in Lexington, taming the powerful Wildcats offense over the first two games of their three-game series and making sure they wouldn't fall from the top spot of the rankings before Saturday even arrived.

NC State, Stanford, Texas Tech and Oregon State, the teams ranked Nos. 2-6, were just as impressive, as each team won their respective weekend series to cement their status among the nation's elite. No. 7 Ole Miss got back on track after losing two straight SEC series by beating previously-ranked Georgia, who fell out of the Top 25 this week after losing their third consecutive conference series.

Also falling out of the Top 25 was LSU, a program that has faced some challenges this spring but endured an especially difficult 0-4 week after losing to Tulane mid-week and getting swept by South Carolina. The Tigers became the fourth program that played in the College World Series last season to fall out of the rankings completely, joining Louisville, TCU and Cal State Fullerton. Not including any of those four long-respected programs doesn't seem right, but only the Titans were able to walk away with a series win this weekend, which evened their season record at 19-19.

Entering the Top 25 are a pair of teams from Florida, No. 23 South Florida and No. 25 Jacksonville. After beating East Carolina a week ago the Bulls knocked off in-state and American Athletic Conference rival UCF two games to one (they also have beat UConn and Memphis in league play). Jacksonville enjoyed a big week, going 4-0 with a mid-week win over the top-ranked Gators while sweeping a strong Saint Louis club on the road.
