Beesley is a quick twitch athlete with tools on both sides of the ball. He's especially impressive defensively with his outstanding arm strength and smooth actions but he can hit and run, too.
Jones is a plus athlete with a very good speed and strength combination. He generates lots of right handed bat speed and showed his power well and projects as a hitter with some mechanical adjustments.
Baer was one of the strongest players at the event and it really showed in his right handed bat speed and power. He hit the ball very hard both in BP and in the games and also threw up to 86 mph from the mound.
Ornido has a nice pitcher's build and an easy and loose arm. He filled up the strike zone with four different quality pitches, including a fastball that topped out at 86 mph, and really moved the game along quickly.
Baig was one of the fastest runners at the event with a 6.76 sixty and swung the bat very well with a quick right handed swing that produced numerous game hits.
Seymour is a very sound fundamental player who does everything well both offensively and defensively and plays the game hard. He should be a solid college level catcher in the future.
Mercado needs to get stronger but he has nice actions and plays with flair in the infield and has surprising bat speed at the plate. He's another kid who looks like he likes to play the game.
Martinez is a strong young man with sound hitting mechanics and a strong and fast right handed swing that should hit for both power and average.
Aronne really played well in the games, hitting a home run and a triple at the plate and making an outstanding catch on defense. He impressed us with the energy he brings to his game.
Altofer stood out defensively in all areas with is arm strength, athleticism and blocking skills. He's a strong right handed hitter as well.
Kirk is 6-5/200 and looks extra strong and projectable. He was steady in the 84-86 mph range for four innings and settled down to throw plenty of strikes with his fastball.
Gaskins is a tall and very projectable athlete who already has lots of physical tools and is just going to get better as he gets older.
Sylk gets one's attention with his long and loose 6-3/180 build as a left hander. He throws from a cross body delivery with lots of deception and was as high as 85 mph with more velocity there with physical maturity.
