SportsBoard and Perfect Game Partner to
Offer Revolutionary PG Mobile Scouting App

Baseball college coaches and pro scouts can now assess players more efficiently than ever before at all Perfect Game events. Perfect Game Mobile Scout, powered by SportsBoard, represents a ground-breaking new partnership making SportsBoard the Official Mobile Scouting Platform for Perfect Game, the world’s largest and most respected baseball scouting service.

Together, Perfect Game and SportsBoard are committed to enhancing the development and careers of the most talented amateur baseball players in the country. Perfect Game’s dynamic partnership with SportsBoard will result in a Perfect Game Mobile App that will allow college coaches and professional scouts to record all of their assessments about players on an iPad or iPhone.

We are thrilled that this new partnership with Perfect Game will help coaches and scouts digitize their recruiting process,” said Gregg Jacobs, CEO and founder of SportsBoard. “All the player data they need at showcases or tournaments is now right at their fingertips on their iPad or iPhone.”

The Perfect Game Mobile Scout will serve the important purpose of streamlining access to PG’s valuable scouting player data in a mobile environment, while also enabling coaches and scouts to assess players using skills ratings, text notes, video clips and voice memos. Moving forward, all coaches and professional scouts at Perfect Game events held throughout 2015 will be able to use the Perfect Game Mobile Scout App to capture this data instead of the printed packets.

We know from our experience recently in Jupiter at the WWBA World Championships that coaches and MLB scouts were elated to be able to move away from all the paper and operate more efficiently than ever,” stated Jerry Ford, President of Perfect Game. “Our staff also used SportsBoard in Jupiter and they were very impressed with the video ability as well as the amount of information they could compile on players with much less effort.”

With over 100,000 amateur players in its database, PG operates the largest baseball scouting database in the world. Perfect Game holds more than 100 events each year in all parts of the United States.

PG’s All American Classic Showcase in San Diego is their premier event with participants achieving unprecedented success. Nearly every player enters the MLB draft and/or signs with the top college programs in the country, including 149 1st round draft picks in just 11 years.

Perfect Game events have proven invaluable to the college coaching community and Major League baseball, enabling scouts the opportunity to view a large population of talented players all in one location. Results from Perfect Game events are reported to all 30 Major League scouting departments and to more than 1,500 college baseball programs.

SportsBoard and Perfect Game will kick off this groundbreaking partnership Jan. 2-5 at the American Baseball Coaches Association Convention (ABCA) in Orlando, Fla., where they will be sharing an exhibitor booth at the World Center Marriott.
