Evans put all his loud tools on display over the course of the weekend, popping a 1.88 down to second base with the top velocity of 76 mph. Evans also threw 88 mph from the outfield, topped at 85 mph on the mound and showed strength to all fields with his right handed swing.
At 6-foot-5, Gardner created nice angle and downward plane on his fastball that topped at 85 mph and filled up the lower quadrants of the strike zone. To complement his heater, Gardner showed a feel for his curveball and flashed a changeup at 71 mph.
Higa had a strong weekend all around, showing well with his right handed stroke and a quick, short path to the ball with a strong feel for the barrel. Behind the plate Higa showed very smooth, athletic actions with a quick pop and accuracy on throws to second base.
Jack showed the top pitching velocity of the showcase, topping at 87 mph while showing a quick and compact arm action. He did a nice job of working low in the zone and showed depth on his curveball.
McLamore turned in the top pop time of the event with a 1.81 and continues to show those tools during in game action. Quick release with strength and carry on throws, showing a quick swing from the right side with strength coming off the barrel.
