2022 Top Prospects

James Wilson  RHP - 2022 - Toronto, ON CAN
Gulf Coast State College

A Walters State CC commit who was part of a contingent of players who came down from Toronto for the showcase, the 6-4/210 Wilso shined on the mound, topping out at 91 mph while showing a solid three pitch mix that included a slider and an advanced change up.

Jean Santos  SS - 2022 - Kissimmee, FL
Uncommitted

Santos will be able to play at the next level based on his defensive abilities in the middle infield alone. He has outstanding range and quickness and a feel for making the athletic and spectacular play that most players can't make.

2023 Top Prospects

Shamaar McDuffie  SS - 2023 - Hampton, GA
Kennesaw State

McDuffie is a Kennesaw State commit with a very projectable 5-11/153 build and tons of projection all over the field. His defensive actions both in the middle infield and the outfield are excellent and his arm really works well at both positions and on the mound as well. He has plenty of twitch and some present bat speed from the right side at the plate.

Raudi Rodriguez  OF - 2023 - Statesboro, GA
South Carolina

Rodriquez is a high level athlete with present strength and tons of present tools. He has outstanding right handed bat speed with present plus power at the plate and showed the ability to play both middle infield and outfield at a high level with arm strength and athleticism.

Cameron Chee-Aloy  OF - 2023 - Toronto, ON CAN
Illinois

An Illinois commit from Canada, Chee-Aloy showed a dynamic combination of speed, power potential at the plate big outfield arm strength. He plays the game at 100% full energy and his tools are going to play up because of this, too.

Ryan Wynn  SS - 2023 - Douglasville, GA
Wofford

Wynn is a Wofford commit who stood out on both sides of the ball. He's a smooth and polished defender with the tools to stay at shortstop at the next level to go with lots of right handed bat speed from a calm and simple stroke that will translate well to the next level.

Samuel Parker  1B - 2023 - Marietta, GA
Chipola College

Parker has an outstanding 6-4/200 build and two-way potential at the next level. A primary left handed pitcher with a Georgia State commitment, Parker was up to 85 mph on the mound to go with a curveball and change up but might have made his biggest impression as a left handed hitter. He has serious present bat speed and plus power with nice feel for the barrel.

Griffin Turner  SS - 2023 - Fort Worth, TX
Uncommitted

Turner is a lean 6-1/175 athlete with very good run and throw tools. He ran a 6.61 sixty and showed a strong arm and very active feet with lots of range in the middle infield. He has an all fields approach from the right side as a hitter with good barrel control.

Andrew Wells  1B - 2023 - Midland, GA
Alabama State

Wells is a solid overall athlete with a big and strong 6-2/200 build. He's a primary first baseman who is athletic enough to play third base full time but it is his bat and power potential that is his carrying tool as a position player. Wells was also up to 85 mph on the mound with nice life and command.

Julian Wright  OF - 2023 - Cartersville, GA
Uncommitted

Wright has a very strong 6-1/190 build and big tools across the board. He's a 6.63 runner in the sixty with 88 mph arm strength in the outfield. He showed plenty of raw right handed bat speed at the plate and the ability to turn on the ball and get it in the air.

Kayden Ward  OF - 2023 - Dallas, TX
Eastfield College

Ward is a very quick twitch young outfielder who ran a 6.60 and threw 90 mph from the outfield. He takes a full hard swing at the plate and has more raw power than you would guess from slender 6-0/160 frame.

Crispin Brockington  SS - 2023 - Lilburn, GA
Uncommitted

Brockington is a very high level natural athlete with 6.65 speed, an upper 80's arm from both the infield and outfield and a 6-2/188 build that stands out. He was up to 84 mph on the mound with a short and compact arm circle and good command down in the zone. He has a high ceiling on both sides of the ball athletically.

Antretz McDowell  RHP - 2023 - Lithonia, GA
LeTourneau University

McDowell is a primary first baseman with a 6-3/218 build and lots of raw power but graded out higher on the mound at this event. He topped out at 85 mph while filling the zone up with strikes and showed a deep 11/5 curveball as a solid second pitch.

Ashton Pass  SS - 2023 - Smryna, GA
Uncommitted

The 5-7/150 Pass was one of the highest graded infielders defensively in the drills and stood out in the games as well. He has a high contact approach at the plate with quick hands that should produce a high BA/OBP.

Braiden Moore  1B - 2023 - Westminster, SC
Florence-Darlington Technical College

Moore is one big and strong young man with a barrel chested 6-2/230 build. His big tool, not surprisingly, is his right handed power and he made East Cobb Field One look small during batting practice, blasting a number of balls into the top of the left field trees.

2024 Top Prospects

William Owens  1B - 2024 - Senoia, GA
Uncommitted

Owens best tool is his right handed bat. He has present bat speed and the ability to pull the ball with back spin and carry from a simple and consistent approach that will serve him well as the pitching steps up. His 6-2/185 build has plenty of room to fill out and get stronger.

Cody Craft  C - 2024 - Bethlehem, GA
Piedmont University

Craft has a well proportioned and super strong 6-0/235 build and a left handed swing that is surprisingly loose and well controlled. He squared up everything in batting practice hard and then dropped a towering home run over the fence in the games. He plays the game happy and hard and is fun to watch play.

Preston Bonn  C - 2024 - Lawrenceville, GA
Georgia

Bonn has a nice balance of tools for a young catcher. He has quick hands as a right handed hitter and generates present bat speed with lots of pull line drive contact. He has plenty of athleticism, quickness and arm strength to stay behind the plate and develop defensively as well.

Chandler Thiel  RHP - 2024 - Woodstock, GA
University of North Georgia

Thiel has a very strong 5-11/180 build and some tools on both sides of the ball. He has the arm strength and agility to be a left side defensive player and that arm strength stood out on the mound as he threw 84 mph with a very nice hard slider with sharp darting action. His right handed swing was strong and projectable.

Chase Cartron  LHP - 2024 - Owens Cross Roads, AL
Troy

Carton grabs the eye right away with his strong and well proportioned 6-6/215 build. He has a surprisingly under control swing at the plate and showed both the ability to square up the ball and to drive it deep when he turns on it. He's a good one-spot athlete who will be an asset defensively at first base.

Jacob Pearl  2B - 2024 - Madison, AL
Montevallo

Pearl is a scrappy type player who is going to play above his tools on both sides of the ball. He makes athletic plays and gets outs in the middle infield and barrels up the ball consistently while showing lots of speed on the bases.

2025 Top Prospects

Josh Gibbs  SS - 2025 - Cumming, GA
Georgia

Gibbs is a 7.05 runner with lots of infield arm strength for a 2025 but he stood out the most at the plate. He has present bat speed despite his 5-10/155 build and can really drive the ball, especially to the pull side. He projects in all areas of the game.

Julian Carter  SS - 2025 - Sandy Springs, GA
Uncommitted

Carter has a very young 6-0/150 body and look but shows lots of athleticism that is going to keep growing as he does. He glides in the infield with his 6.69 speed and makes plays easily. He has a very nice right handed swing and is already showing some gap power and whip to the barrel.

Henry Akopov  OF - 2025 - Marietta, GA
Uncommitted

Akopov ran a blazing 6.39 sixty, simply an outstanding time for a freshman. He showed solid arm strength from the outfield and some right handed bat speed at the plate to go with his big carrying tool.

Gavin Barr  SS - 2025 - Forsyth, GA
Uncommitted

Barr still has plenty of growing to do from his present 5-8/145 but he already has some big tools as a freshman. He broke the 7.00 barrier in the sixty with a 6.98 and threw 89 mph from the outfield, 85 from the infield and topped out at 83 mph from the mound. He's a switch hitter at the plate with talent from both sides.

Samford Halcomb  OF - 2025 - Suwanee, GA
Uncommitted

Halcomb is a young left handed hitter with a very advanced swing approach and the ability to square up the ball hard to all fields, which he basically did every at-bat in the two games. His best non-hitting tool is his 6.87 speed.

Ayden Phillips  3B - 2025 - Live Oak, FL
Uncommitted

Phillips is extra strong for his age at 6-1/215 and showed that strength at the plate well in games with a first pitch home run off a fastball over the plate. He has solid arm strength as well and topped out at 83 mph on the mound with a good slider.

Korbin Reynolds  C - 2025 - Clarksville, TN
Vanderbilt

Reynolds stood out for his very advanced defensive tools and skills behind the plate defensively. He's strong enough already as a hitter to drive the ball and will continue to improve there as he matures but it's going to be his defense that carries him in the future.
