2024 Top Prospects

Noah Wech  RHP - 2024 - Manitowoc, WI
Oklahoma State

Solid build. Uptempo delivery with a side step to a belt high lift. The arm stroke is fluid with release out of a three-quarters slot. The max effort nature led to some overly elevated misses. Athletic actions down the high hill with quality extension and hip turn. The fastball has real life through the glove. Slider was spun well to both sides of the dish with late action off the fastball plane. Tons to like here. Fastball takes off through the glove. Came in and just dominated three batters.

Big durable left handed pitcher that works with a stretch only operation with moderate lift and medium arm stroke, extends well down the slope with release out of a three-quarters slot. Fastball displays really quality AS run. Command of the fastball was lights out. Elevated comfortably. Breaking ball was sharp breaking and executed late count to perfection. Offering features late depth. Ch is thrown with proper arm speed and displays arm side fade to it. Very clean crisp operation.

Tall lean ultra projectable build. The delivery is athletic and well repeated. The arm action is loose with release out of a three-quarters slot. There is drop and drive tendencies. The fastball features some hop through the zone and was commanded excellently throughout the brief outing. The breaking ball is tightly spun with sharp biting horizontal break

Matthew Cunningham  RHP - 2024 - Eagan, MN

Lean athletic build. Delivery is with big kick and segmented well, keeping the backside pretty well stacked. The arm action is loose and fluid with release from a three-quarters slot. The breaking ball is sharp with late depth. Command of both offerings impressed. This is a well coached kid with tons of rhythm to pair with quality stuff and command. Fastball plays true with advanced ride through the glove.

Issei Takahashi  OF - 2024 - Hartland, WI
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Takahashi had one of the more easy, low-effort swings of the event, creating easy bat speed and getting the barrel out front on time, spraying hard liners to all fields. He's also a solid defender in a corner outfield spot.

Carter Lund  RHP - 2024 - Cambridge, WI
Madison College

Lund showed good power at the plate, driving an XBH in live at-bats as well as showing power in BP. He has good athleticism behind the plate with solid footwork, and also worked 80-83 mph on the mound in a relief stint.

Kyle Binder  C - 2024 - Edwards, IL
Illinois Central College

Binder has good tools and physical ability, running well (6.84 seconds) in the 60, showing good athletic quickness behind the plate, and showcasing good power from the right side of the plate.


2025 Top Prospects

Ethan Bauerschmidt  RHP - 2025 - Pleasant Prairie, WI
Penn State

Tall lean build. Simple repeatable operation with long loose arm action. Effortless velocity with tons of life through the glove. Fastball is jumping out of the hand. Slider is a big sweeper with tight spin out of the hand. Dominated 3 hitter in a row for punch outs. Super projectable still, could sneak into the mid 90’s shortly. Very very good.

Jack Poellot  SS - 2025 - Cedarburg, WI

Medium build. Hands start at the belt working in to a moderate lift. The arm action is sound with medium take back. The fastball plays straight with life through the glove. Command of it was solid in a brief outing. The breaking ball features downer action with slight pop above the fastball plane out of the hand. Not fully polished but an effective change of pace. Flashed a changeup that showed tons of AS action.

Clayton Kroschel  OF - 2025 - Beaver Dam, WI

Uptempo order with quick arm stroke and over the top release. Commands a lively heater that he worked well up in the zone. Breaking ball is borderline 12-6 break and was landed to both sides of the dish with frequency. There’s plenty of arm talent here. Came in for a brief outing and just dominated for 6 outs. Stuff should continue to improve with added maturity.

Landon Majerus  RHP - 2025 - Waconia, MN

Traditional windup with big lift. The arm stroke is long with fluidity to it as a whole. Fastball shows really quality life through the zone and he had success going up the ladder with it for late count whiffs. Slider is sharp biting off the fastball plane. Curveball shows two plane break with some sharpness to it. There’s a lot to like from a pure stuff stand point. Ch is standard with subtle arm side fade. Command could use a touch of polish. Fastball has turned into a cutter here in the second inning. Flashed a separate 2 seamer with all sorts of arm side run, think he could benefit from further utilization of that.

Marek Bolson  C - 2025 - Oconomowoc, WI
Kent State

Bolson impressed throughout the event, showing off a loose and whippy lefthanded stroke that produces hard contact consistently, and he also showed good twitch behind the plate with projectable tools.

Abe Herchenbach  RHP - 2025 - Elkhorn, WI

Medium athletic build. Loose athletic delivery with fluid arm stroke and release out of a three quarters slot. Pitches with a ton of rhythm out there, lots of 0-1 0-2. Fastball features turbo running sink. The command was excellent. Breaking stuff is promising with late sweep to it. Really dominant outing the sweeping slider stoodout along with the command of fastball.

Casey Wambach  SS - 2025 - Sun Prairie, WI

Wambach has excellent size and projection to go along with a loose stroke at the plate, generating good loft and bat speed while projecting really well for power. He's a solid defender in the infield and has two-way ability on the mound as well.

Mike Wright  RHP - 2025 - Seymour, IN

Full over the head windup with moderate lift. The arm stroke is long with slight hitching action. Fastball features lots of life through the mitt with occasional cut. SL shows signs of being a really solid 2nd pitch. The break is late with varying tilt. Operation is clean with some athleticism down the slope. Repeats the delivery well.

Nathan Schopf  OF - 2025 - Milwaukee, WI

Schopf has advanced strength and showed that off during BP, showing big power to the pull-side as well as registering a 93 mph exit velocity off a tee. He also moves well in the outfield and shows good reads and hand actions.

Preston Yaucher  SS - 2025 - Verona, WI
Penn State

Yaucher had some of the better infield actions of the event, with smooth footwork and clean hands with a quick release across the diamond, and he flashed lift and bat speed at the plate with burgeoning power to the pull-side.

Levi Watts  OF - 2025 - Appleton, WI

Watts turned in a solid 60 time (7.00) and showed off quick feet with easy movement patterns and good balance when taking his defensive workout. He threw 81 mph and showed a quick, direct stroke at the plate built for spraying line drives.

Braylen White  OF - 2025 - Brown Deer, WI

White has good twitch to him and showed that off in multiple facets, running a burner of a 6.58 in the 60 yard dash and showing some of the better footwork and short area quickness during OF workouts, where he threw 82 mph.

Isaac Poehlman  1B - 2025 - Green Bay, WI

Poehlman is really physical with strength in the stick and on the mound. He has good strength in his lefthanded swing resulting in good power displays during BP, and he worked up to 83 mph on the mound with flashes of a solid breaker.

Blayne Roberts  RHP - 2026 - Tiffin, IA

Roberts stood way out on the mound in this event, showing a controlled delivery with a smooth arm stroke, working 81-85 mph with his fastball and spinning a sharp slider that missed bats. His upside on the mound stands out.

Alex Schoepp  SS - 2026 - Verona, WI

Schoepp showed a lot to like defensively, with smooth footwork and rangy movements with good hands and an 80 mph arm across the diamond. He has some upside on the mound as well.


2027 Top Prospects

Richard Carlson  RHP - 2027 - South Beloit, IL

Carlson has good size and intriguing offensive tools, showing off a clean stroke with projectable bat speed and a good path, registering up to 80 mph exit velocity off a tee with wood and hitting the ball hard consistently in BP.
