A lot of exciting potential in 6-foot-6 right-hander Landon Spears (2025, Doyline, La.). Despite the young, lengthy frame and levers, the coordination is intact and works a fluid operation that shows great feel for pitching with ease and repeatable actions. The upside is evident with a lot more to see down the road. Holding an excellent performance in the playoffs, he showcased a fastball up to 83 with tough angle and showed a good feel to spin playing off the fastball very well. He has some deception in the long and controlled delivery that hides the ball with a low three-quarter slot arm action. Certainly showing signs of projection, fitting the part and a high ceiling as he matures physically and advances his quality craft on the mound.
