Bryant Kimbrell (2024, Marston, N.C.) got the start in the opening game for the C35 2024 National team and is a 6-foot-1 projectable right-handed pitcher with a large frame and a strong lower half. He showcased good arm extension and speed with his fastball topping 86 mph while mixing in a tight, sharp breaking ball that has great depth, thus keeping the hitters off balance all game. Kimbrell has an even and well-balanced swing at the plate, which lines him up to be a two-way player potentially. He finished the game pitching two-plus innings with four strikeouts.
