Bryant Kimbrell is a 2024 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Southern Pines, NC who attends Pinecrest. Really physical and well developed frame with excellent overall strength and solid athleticism. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.69 seconds. Primary position 1B, moving well on his feet and showing comfortable actions around the bag. Smooth glove work, securing the ball well with confidence. Handled all the plays well and showed a quality arm creating velocities up to 83 mph and his feeds were accurate on the bag. RHH starting with a wide and open stance with a good handset and nice rhythm. Loads well into his backside, and generates energy from his strong base. Pull oriented approach with excellent strength in his hands and if he gets on plane there is legitimate juice to the pull side. Did get a touch long at times creating some timing concerns but there is good offensive projection here. RHP working exclusively from the stretch with a rigid delivery as he separates his hands at the belt. Arm action is a bit inverted causing his hand to be late at times leading him to an over the top arm path. Gets down the slope getting good energy from his strong lower half. FB peaked at 80 mph with spin in the 2,000 rpm range. Only flashed one SL at 71 mph spinning at 1876. Outstanding performance in the classroom as well.
