West WWBA Scout Notes: Day 1


Daniel Arambula (2024, Yucaipa, Calif.) put on a show at the plate on day two, nearly hitting for the cycle. The LSU commit displayed advanced feel for the barrel using a short, compact swing. Quick bat speed allows the bat head to get out front and drive balls hard to the pull side. It all combines with a strong, physical build to generate advanced power that plays in that direction. Arambula has the ability to change a game with one swing of the bat. It is an intriguing middle of the order profile with run-producing ability and legit power present.
