2022 Top Prospects

Tucker Love  SS - 2022 - Yorktown, VA
Murray State

Love is an Old Dominion commit who looks like he has the athleticism and tools to stay in the middle infield at the college level. His polished actions at shortstop stood out, as did his 88 mph arm strength. A switch-hitter, Love had better bat speed and showed more comfort from his natural right side.

Erik Anderson  SS - 2022 - Matthews, NC
Uncommitted

Anderson is just a very good athlete and looked like he could do just about anything on the field. He's a middle of the field defender in both the outfield and infield, has a nice loose swing with bat speed at the plate and was even up to 87 mph on the mound with a slider to go with it.

2023 Top Prospects

Collin Snyder  C - 2023 - Spotsylvania, VA
Shepherd College

Snyder was the strongest player at the showcase with a very firm and cut 6-2/205 frame and he had some of the top tools as well. His 84 mph arm strength behind the plate is elite level and he has the foot quickness behind the plate to really grow defensively. Snyder's right handed bat speed and power to the middle of the field was big as well.

Mitch Jones  MIF - 2023 - Greenville, NC
Virginia Tech

Jones is a Virginia Tech commit who stood out both for his 6.65 speed in the sixty and for his strong right handed bat. He's an aggressive hitter who attacked balls every at-bat during the games and lined multiple hard hit balls to the pull side.

Michael Harpster  RHP - 2023 - Lynchburg, VA
East Tenn State

Harpster has a slender and athletic middle infielder's body but a big right arm on the mound. He was up to 86 mph from a lower arm slot that created lots of deception and life to his fastball and he commanded it very well to all parts of the strike zone.

Aj Malzone  C - 2023 - Manteno, IL
Wabash Valley College

Malzone is a left handed hitting catcher, always a prized demographic in baseball, and has next level tools both in the batter's box and behind the plate athletically. He stung some balls at the plate and his 5-11/180 frame has plenty of present strength in it.

Wyatt Stanley  1B - 2023 - Colfax, NC
Uncommitted

Stanley is a left handed hitter with a strong 6-1/190 build and that strength translates very well into left handed power at the plate. He takes a full and aggressive swing and creates big carry and hang time to the right centerfield gap. He also showed some two-way ability as a left handed pitcher on the mound.

Billy Fluharty  SS - 2023 - Spotsylvania, VA
Bucknell

Fluharty is a quick twitch athlete with lots of room to add strength to his slender 6-0/155 frame. He ran a 6.72 in the sixty and threw 90 mph from the outfield and 85 from the infield to highlight his measurables and had nice right handed bat speed at the plate.

Levi Gingerich  RHP - 2023 - Cary, NC
Washington University (Missouri)

Gingerich has a solid 6-2/205 build and a nice set of balanced mechanics on the mound. He had nice run on an 80-84 mph fastball to go with a sharp curveball and a low 70's change up that flashed big diving action to it. An elite level student, he has a future as a durable three-pitch starter at the next level.

Sohrab Rezaei  SS - 2023 - Chicago, IL
Wabash Valley College

Rezaei has lots of "ballplayer" in his game and looks to be the type who is going to outplay his physical tools. A 7.14 runner who fits best at second base, his best present tool was his right handed bat, which was consistently squared up on all types of pitches with hard contact to all fields.

Nate Conner  1B - 2023 - Johnson City, TN
Walters State CC

Conner is a big and strong 6-0/200 left handed hitter who has the bat speed and approach to hit at the next level. The ball comes off the barrel hard and there's plenty of power here down the road. A 7.21 runner with a strong arm, Connor is a primary first baseman who actually grades out better defensively in the outfield.

2024 Top Prospects

Zach Russell  SS - 2024 - Charleston, SC
South Carolina

Russell is a very slender 6-0/155 primary middle infielder with 6.99 speed in the sixty but he graded out higher as a right handed pitcher at this event and may have a bright future on the mound. He worked up to 84 mph with loose and whippy mid 3/4's arm slot that created big late running life and also had a nice low to mid 70's slider.

Dalen Boykin  RHP - 2024 - Zebulon, NC
Lenoir CC

Boykin has a strong 6-0/205 build and a solid three pitch mix on the mound. He worked up to 83 mph to go along with an upper 60's breaking ball with good spin and the makings of a change up.

Sam Maclaughlin  LHP - 2024 - Toronto, ON CAN
Missouri State

Maclaughlin has a nice young 6-0/160 build that projects well and a full arsenal of pitches on the mound that he threw for strikes. There is more in his arm than the 82 mph fastball he showed but his real weapon was the ability to spin a sharp and late breaking ball that toggled between a curveball and slider in shape.

2025 Top Prospects

Matthew Aldridge  OF - 2025 - Greenville, NC
Uncommitted

Aldridge really stands out physically for his age, with a very projectable 6-3/190 build and plenty of present strength. That strength stood out in his left handed swing, as the ball exploded off his bat a couple of times with big carry. He's also a 7.13 runner with plenty of outfield athleticism.

Cohen Bettencourt  C - 2025 - Charlotte, NC
High Point

Bettencourt is a nice young athlete with lots of physical projection ahead of him. He played well both behind the plate and in the infield on defense, ran a solid 7.25 in the sixty and has some right handed bat speed and ability to drive the ball at the plate.
