2022 Top Prospects

Michael Lorenzetti  RHP - 2022 - Bristol, CT
Iona

Lorenzetti is an extremely projectable RHP who ran his fastball up to 90 mph with 4 K's in his 3 innings of work. He displayed a full arm action from a 3/4 slot and flashed tons of explosion downhill at release. The arsenal for Lorenzetti featured a funky 11-5 hammer curve and high 70s changeup that played down in the zone.

Billy Mrowka  C - 2022 - Duxbury, MA
George Mason

Mrowka was a force at the plate all weekend, flashing athletic movements with clear consistent juice to the pull side gap. The strong lefty hitter recorded an 89 mph exit velo and showed compact hands that got the barrel out in front. Defensively behind the plate Mrowka showcased smooth transitions and put up a 1.97 pop time.

Nick Coletti  OF - 2022 - Carlisle, MA
Babson

Colletti showcased the top outfield velocity at 91 mph during the defensive workout, while also running a 6.97 sixty-yard dash and flashing athletic actions in the outfield. At the plate, he incorporates a simple swing with quickness to his hands and feel for the barrel that projects long term.

Justin Gouveia  OF - 2022 - Dartmouth, MA

Gouveia looked sharp on the bump in his brief one inning of work, striking out 2 while running the fastball up to 81 mph. He displayed a whippy effortless arm action with repeatable mechanics that consistently pounded the zone for strikes. Gouveia also showed all around potential defensively, recording 86 mph from the OF and 84 mph across the diamond.

Dylan Diaz  OF - 2022 - East Hampton, CT

Diaz tallied 3 hits during gameplay, showing off his extra-base juice recording a double, triple, and home run. Sending a towering shot into the trees beyond the left field fence, showcasing pull side power with a knack for squaring up the ball.

John DiCostanzo  LHP - 2022 - Haddon Heights, NJ
The College of New Jersey

DiCostanzo worked with a quick and easy operation, creating some deception against hitters. A low-80's fastball, running it up to 85 mph with late life through the zone, the uncommitted lefty showed feel for a slider, landing it for strikes often.

Christopher Quigley  MIF - 2022 - Halifax, MA

Athletic INF Christopher Quigley put the quick clean footwork on display defensively, showing solid range and recording 80 mph across the diamond. He consistently created good lift with backspin offensively and ran a 6.86 sixty yard dash to make him the complete all around player.


2023 Top Prospects

Ben Waterman  RHP - 2023 - Milton, MA
Uncommitted

Waterman retired 5 batters on strikes in his 3 innings of work with a fastball that sat 82-85 and topped 86 mph. From an athletic young frame, he displayed simple controlled mechanics and flashed an 11-5 curve with solid depth as well as a fading changeup as a 3rd pitch. Waterman also threw 87 mph across the diamond and ran a 7.03 sixty yard dash.

Adam Bauks  RHP - 2023 - Easton, CT
Salve Regina University

Bauks impressed over his three innings of work, as the long and lean right-hander ran his fastball up to 84 mph and struck out five hitters along the way. He displayed command of both sides of the plate and mixed in a promising 12-6 shaped curveball for both strikes and swings-and-misses. There is plenty of projection remaining, as he should continue to add more velocity as he physically matures.

Tyler Tedeschi  OF - 2023 - Plymouth, MA
NYU

Tedeschi displayed intriguing two-way ability, as the 6-foot-2, 175-pound primary outfielder ran his fastball up to 82 mph in two scoreless innings, ran a 7.13 sixty-yard dash and launched a homerun in game action. He exhibits a high baseball IQ with solid defensive skills in both the infield and the outfield. The uncommitted 2023 grad will continue to add strength and certainly will continue to expand his interesting set of skills.

Jack Volo  RHP - 2023 - Wellesley, MA
Georgetown

Volo showcased some serious swing-and-miss stuff over his 3 innings of work as he struck out 6 with an intriguing three-pitch mix. Holding in the low-80's, topping 84, the uncommitted right-hander showed advanced pitch-ability as he landed all three pitches for strikes in various counts.

Dimitri Skourides  LHP - 2023 - Arlington, MA

A projectable lefty, creating deception with a 3/4 arm slot, Skourides offered an intriguing look on the mound. Working in the mid-70's with a developing slider, missing barrels and generating soft contact, there is a lot of room for Skourides to grow his game.


2024 Top Prospects

Travis Crawford  C - 2024 - Wrentham, MA

Crawford is an intriguing 2024 Grad with legitimate catch-and-throw skills and offensive prowess at the plate. The Wrentham, Mass. native has plenty of present athleticism, as he ran a 6.85 sixty-yard dash and moved well laterally behind the plate. He recorded a 1.97 Pop Time with game-like actions during drills and displayed projectable arm strength up to 76 mph from behind the plate. Lastly, he collected four hits throughout the event including a homerun. The swing projects long-term, as he stays short and direct to the ball with plenty of bat speed present.

Cameron LaGrassa  SS - 2024 - Middleton, MA
Brown

LaGrassa impressed on both sides of the ball, while flashing projectable two-way abilities. The left-handed hitting middle-infielder recorded arm strength up to 82 mph across the diamond and used his quick twitch athleticism to showcase smooth, fluid actions during the fielding process. At the plate, he incorporates a lofted stroke to deliver the barrel with authority, while creating tons of leverage and impact to the pullside. On the mound, he ran his fastball up to 80 mph and showed aptitude for spin with his slider.


2025 Top Prospects

Ryan Garvey  LHP - 2025 - Westfield, MA

Garvey was impressive on the mound as he struck out 7 hitters and only surrendered 2 hits in his 4 innings of work. Advanced pitch-rising for his age, this rising freshman generated a lot of whiffs with a 2-8 slider, throwing his fastball off of it, causing it to get on hitters quickly as he held them off balance.
