Maxwell Stewart
1B - 2027 - San Diego, CA
Big, athletic frame he impressed. He had the most pop out of the group this weekend. He had a triple to the wall and a couple RBI's this weekend.
Grady Sickler
RHP - 2027 - Medford, OR
4-pitch mix (FB, CB, SL, CH) Shows a repeatable delivery with clean arm action out of a high 3/4 slot. A strike thrower. Fastball showed good life at the top of the zone generating lots of swing and miss. Was able to land his secondaries and produce numerous ground balls. Worked and efficient three innings of work striking out 3. One of the more impressive bats of the weekend he had a couple hits including a double and an RBI.
Ryan Grivett
3B - 2027 - Mission Viejo, CA
3-pitch mix (FB, CB, CH) Works exclusively out of the stretch. Shows fundamental mechanics, with an athletic delivery out of a 3/4 slot. One of the top pitchers at the showcase. Collected 2 strikeouts in his first inning of work. Fastball had good zip that hitters could not catch up to. Used his secondaries to induce weak contact. Collected 5 strikeouts in 3 innings of work. He was impressive at the plate. He has big time juice at the plate with the ability to go gap to gap.
Carson Root
LHP - 2027 - Menifee, CA
4-pitch mix (FB, CB, SL, CH) Works extremely fast. Fastball has glove side cut. Curveball has late break. Pulls the string on the changeup and had hitters out front. Great pick-off-move. Collected 6 strikeouts in 3 innings of work. He made solid contact all weekend in the box.
Robert Bering
LHP - 2027 - Carlsbad, CA
3-pitch mix (FB, CB, CH) Has a shorter arm stroke out of a 3/4 slot. Works quick and is a strike thrower. Fastball has glove side run. Curveball showed good shape with late breaking action. Induced numerous fly balls. Collected 4 strikouts, zero runs in three innings pitched
Ty Bernal
LHP - 2027 - Arroyo Grande, CA
3-pitch mix, cut FB, CB) Shows fundamentally sound mechanics with a repeatable delivery and clean arm action out of a 3/4 slot. Attacked hitters with the fastball early in counts. His cut-FB had excellent glove-side run and the curveball had late break inducing multiple ground balls.
Trent Kellas
1B - 2027 - Carlsbad, CA
3-pitch mix (FB, CB, CH) Shows fundamentally sound mechanic with a repeatable delivery out of a 3/4 slot. One of the better pitchers in the showcase that displayed the ability to throw strikes consistently and challenge hitters. Showed an excellent changeup with fade to the arm side. Was able to produce swing and misses.
Steven Darrett III
OF - 2027 - Victorville, CA
3-pitch mix (FB, CB, CH) Deliberate, repeatable delivery out of a 3/4 slot. Worked quick and struck out 2 in one inning of work. He recorded a hit in game action and hit the ball hard all weekend.
Kane Garcia
1B - 2027 - Huntington Beach, CA
An athletic lefty frame. He was barreling up balls to all fields. He has the ability to play any outfield position and first base. He pitched and was effective in his outing.
Kyle Montgomery
C - 2027 - Marietta, GA
Sturdy, athletic ball player. His ability to use the whole field stood out. What stood out the most was his defensive ability. He was our top catcher at the showcase but showed he could play multiple positions effectively.
Jakob Lopez
SS - 2027 - Broken Arrow, OK
A tall, athletic ball player. He was barreling balls all weekend. He was versatile on defense and also took the mound. His athleticism was evident.
Nathan Snawder
3B - 2027 - Fontana, CA
Big, athletic lefty bat. He was impressive at the dish. He had a good approach throughout. He used the whole field collecting a hit and a couple RBI's.
Blaine Bilderback
RHP - 2027 - Gardnerville, NV
3-pitch mix (FB, CB, CH) Works quick. A strike thrower that pounded the zone and attacks hitters early. Fastball showed excellent arm side run away from LHH. Curveball has slurry action that produced weak contact consistently. Posted an efficient three innings of work collecting 4 strikeouts.
Ethan Giannetto
2B - 2027 - Terra Bella, CA
A very versatile and very good defensive player. He was making plays at multiple positions. He had a hit and multiple loud outs in game action.
Finn Goodridge
LHP - 2028 - Corona Del Mar, CA
3-pitch mix (FB, CB, CH) Has a shorter arm stroke, a repeatable delivery out of a 3/4 slot. A consistent strike thrower. Fastball showed good arm-side tail. Produced a lot of fly balls. Showed he can field his position.
Brock Rainis
3B - 2028 - San Juan Capistrano, CA
This young man is a hitting machine. He went 2-5 with three runs scored and added an RBI over the weekend. He is a versatile defender. Impressive weekend out of him.
