Tony DiChiara (2024 C, Toms River, NJ) produced perhaps the loudest round of the day, as the NJIT commit showcased a whole field approach with plenty of present bat speed and easy power from gap-to-gap. He stays fairly simple with his movements into launch, generates tons of leverage out in-front and has good feel for the barrel.

Antonio Dominici (2023 MIF, Millstone, NJ) impressed throughout his round, as the St.Joseph's commit found the barrel often. He implores a short, direct swing path with plenty of present bat speed and impacts the baseball with authority to all fields.

Fayz Baig (2025 LHP, Marlborough, CT) showcased some of the more impressive power potential, as the strongly built left-handed hitting 2025 Grad creates tons of leverage with his lower half and has some feel for the barrel. He stayed through the middle-of-the field effectively and launched a few loudly to the pullside.

Jake Giovannone (2024 C, Staten Island, NY) stayed consistent throughout his round, as the 2024 backstop produced several well-struck line drives. He stays simple with his movements into launch, has feel for the barrel and advanced hand-eye coordination.

3-Red v. 4 Game Highlights

2/18/2023

Dane Jorgensen (2025 2B, New Egypt, NJ) opened up the top of the 1st inning with a loud opposite field barrel that would have almost certainly found the deep RCF gap. Jorgensen has time to fill out the young 5-foot-9 150 pound frame with advanced barrel control already present.

Salvatore Cassano (2024 2B, Matawan, NJ) sent a rocket line drive back up the middle early in his first plate appearance, showcasing the ability to pull the hands inside the baseball with success. He followed it up with consecutive loud lined drives in his next two at-bats. Cassano effectively got the barrel out in front and handled velocity well.

David Hamlin (2024 RHP, Sea Bright, NJ) seemed to find his stride during the 2nd inning of his appearance on the bump, touching 84 mph while holding velocity well throughout the outing. The athletic and still projectable 6-foot-2 195 pound righty flashed the ability to pitch backwards in counts and sequence effectively with a sharp 11-5 breaker that played off the FB well.

Christopher Galasso (2024 SS, Matawan, NJ) showed good feel for the barrel, as the strongly built right-handed hitting shortstop stayed back on a breaking ball and scorched it to left-field. He implores a loose, leveraged stroke with plenty of present bat speed and strength at impact.

Tyler McLeod (2025 RHP, Manahawkin, NJ) showed plenty of projection moving forward, as the long and lanky right-hander ran his fastball to 83 mph from a loose three-quarters slot. He displayed tons of natural arm-side run to the pitch and navigated all four quadrants effectively. He flashed a promising breaking ball with two-plane tilt and some late bite, while replicating his faded change extremely well. There is a ton of physical upside remaining and he should continue to climb the velocity ladder as he physically matures.

Charlie Stumberger (2026 3B, Atlantic Highlands, NJ) scorched a loud line drive during game play, as the immensely projectable 2026 has plenty of physical upside remaining. He stayed short and direct to the baseball and has some quickness to his hands.

Dylan Swanson (2024 SS, Staten Island, NY) was impressive during his one-inning appearance, as the athletic right-hander ran his fastball up to 83 mph from a short, compact arm action. He displayed the ability to command both sides of the plate effectively and ripped off numerous power 12-6 curveballs in the 2500 RPM range.

Anthony Letizia (2024 SS, Egg Harbor City, NJ) was mighty impressive in his inning of work, as the strongly built right-hander worked his fastball up to 84 mph with explosive downhill life out of the hand. He navigated all four quadrants extremely well with his fastball. He paired it well with a 12-6 curveball that had abrupt plane change and late bite to generate plenty of swings-and-misses.

1-Columbia Blue vs 2-Grey Game Highlights

2/18/2023

Fayz Baig (2025 LHP, Marlborough, CT) worked a two pitch FB/SL mix successfully in his two innings of work, striking out six. The 6-foot-3 195 pound frame for the lefty has strength proportioned nicely throughout with solid downhill extension to top out at 85 mph. Arm speed is evident with the velocity ceiling continuing to rise.

Peter Fopeano (2024 3B, Staten Island, NY) showed off a really disciplined approach at the plate by sitting back on off speed and barrelling up a line drive single to the opposite field during his first opportunity. The still physically developing 5-foot-9 160 pound MIF flashed an inside out approach with simplicity and repeatability to the stroke.

Ryan Hons (2024 RHP, Bloomsburg, PA) pumped it up to 86 mph during his one inning outing on the bump working from an up tempo and high energy operation to generate swing and miss. The 6-foot 180 pound righty is athletically built with a deep arm circle and high ¾ slot at release. He effectively mixed a slurvy breaker that he continues to develop feel and command for.

Antonio Dominici (2023 MIF, Millstone, NJ) put good swings on the baseball all day at the dish, using the middle of the field to his advantage with backspin production present. The athletic 5-foot-10 175 pound righty generated easy bat speed through the zone with advanced bat-to-ball skills to pair.

Luke Mercardante (2026 OF, Saint James, NY) showcased the ability to work gap to gap offensively, starting the game with a solid pull side single followed by an opposite field line drive in his 3rd AB. Mercardante has no glaring weaknesses in the stroke with the ability to cover the zone effectively.

Ethan Grodack (2024 RHP, Lake Ariel, PA) settled in nicely on the bump during his two inning appearance, topping out at 83 mph with evident swing and miss potential in the arsenal. The arm action for the righty was clean and full with athleticism present in the 6-foot-3 205 pound frame. He flipped in a SL around 2300 rpm with horizontal tilt and developing potential as a wipeout pitch.

Dimitri Santiago (2024 1B, Vineland, NJ) picked up three knocks throughout his game at the dish, consistently peppering the middle of the field with success. The primary 1B has plenty of strength in the 6-foot-1 215 pound frame and shifts the weight well through contact to generate carry on the baseball.

Conner Rippo (2025 OF, York, PA) made quick work of hitters during his one inning appearance, striking out two of three while running the gun up to 85 mph. The strong framed righty attacked aggressively in the zone and effectively changed eye levels for swing and miss. He also crushed a ball during his final AB on the offensive end with plenty of evident hip torque to create carry and backspin.
