Brennon Seigler (2024, Knoxville, Tenn.) and Henry Allen (2024, Auburn, Ala.) were solid contributors for the eXposure offense in their victory on Tuesday morning and both have impressive skill sets overall.

Seigler, a Tennessee commit, is a former PG Select Festival participant who looks to have added a fair bit of strength to the build. He’s still a very good athlete who moves really well in center and shows good speed on the base paths. The bat speed is very impressive as he whips the barrel through the zone well and remains compact in terms of the length of the stroke. Seigler had two barrels, a single and a line out, and generally showed good awareness of both the zone and his barrel. Allen is a big, physical corner infielder at a listed 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, though he appears to be bigger than that. The bat speed is very impressive and the amount of time the barrel is in the hitting zone allows him to get extended and use all fields with ease. The Mississippi State commit has big strength at contact and posits some high ceiling power as he continues to develop and fill out.

Starting for the Ohio Warhawks was Bailey Thorne (2024, Phenix City, Ala.) who only threw one inning but still showed some fairly impressive stuff. The right-hander worked his fastball up to 86 mph and sat mostly in the 83-85 mph range during his short start. Thorne has a pretty quick arm and was able to generate a good bit of arm side run on the fastball from a higher slot. The breaking ball feel was a tad inconsistent but there’s good components given the shape and spin of the low-70s offering. It was a quick look at Thorne but the arsenal is certainly impressive at present.
